I enjoy a lot of those, but they also have to aim for ones that have possible second or new seasons starting up soon so they can watch current stuff when it has the most hyped. They are currently already watching Naruto and one piece that will take up a ton of time for one of those older anime slots.

i see what your saying but they will have 3 open time slots, naruto and one liece are rhe exceptions of have over 1K episodes but alot of the other older animes are not that long and wouldnt take that much time to react to the new more hype animes. they have 3 slots opening up, all im saying is add 1 more old school anime. but i understand that its better to follow the hype than not at all

"The Meeting" is a favorite plot device of the author, although it does move the plot along in a strategic sense. And the anime likes to bunch as much of the action for the end of a season (or cours). But when it comes, it's worth it.

If you think about it, Milim became a Demon Lord thousands of years ago, while Veldora was sealed by "the Hero" only 300 years ago.

I just love how excited Michelle is out for blood in Slime! XD Anyway, don't confuse yourselves about the dragons. Veldora said he was sealed by the Hero and the Chaos Dragon was sealed by the Demon Lord Princess Dragon according to the story Elyun's(Eren aka Elf girl Royal Princess) home country passed down among certain royalties.

Honestly if people aren't against Milim's decision to kill thousands of innocent people who had nothing to do with her pet dragon getting killed. Then your moral compass is more towards indifference and just who cares about other humans. For Rimuru need to wait later episode to debate this topic as we aren't there yet.

I remember a number of early reactors, and I, having thoughts on this topic, but: it's an anime and I enjoy it, not because people die(d), or how they got that way. Would it be better if they sent out armies to do it? Also, with Milim, we're talking a child having a tantrum. She just happens to have a lot more destructive power than your average child. None of this makes it alright, but if we avoid everything where fictional people were hurt or killed, we'd have to give up a lot of anime, among other things.

Yeah I edited H man out, I typed that comment very tired and watched this just before went to sleep. Point wasn't to say anybody is anything, but just ignoring things like character killed thousands and then go it's so sweet is little contradiction for your mind if you think about it. This is just pure fiction in the end. I like Milim and she isn't human so she did have rights to go rampaging, but at the same time I would never want to be in a world where she is =)

The translation may seem a little confusing, me thinks. They mentioned that Milim "sealed away her once-beloved companion" instead of maybe just saying something like "laid him to rest". They know Veldora was "sealed away" in the Infinity Prison, which might account for some confusion.

Yeah episodes like this is why the show ultimately ended up only mid for me. Finally it picks up speed being super cool and catchy after all the feel-good and then they full stop it with an episode or 2 of literally just talking about what is going to happen, instead of saying it while it happens (Which, when watching live, means that you have to wait 2-3 weeks before anything happens)

I also think they’re just thinking too deeply into it. Veldora is the Storm Dragon, not chaos. At the same time, they’re think too deeply about the wrong aspect of the show 🤣🤣🤣 biggest overlooked info and character designs of the hero from 300 years ago and what her connections are.

Also, Baldur's Gate heck yea!!! 🔥🔥🔥I've been mostly a FPS player and first person action RPG enjoyer but I've just recently gotten into strategy and tactical RPG's and got to play TTRPG's for the first time late last year and I'm loving all of it xD.

Its been mentioned in this episode so Im putting down this clarification that would be really helpful info. There's a difference between demon lord and "true" demon lord in this anime. Demon lord just means someone who was acknowledged by everyone else to be of that rank, basically someone who is in control of a region, like the overlord of a place. The show or even manga doesn't clearly explain what exacly demon lord means, it's just something people are expected to know like anime general knowledge I guess. A true demon lord is someone who got a demon lord seed, got the souls they need and evolved to the true demon lord race, like how the ogres evolved to Kijin. Since Clayman isn't a "true" demon lord but just a demon lord, he has control over a region and has people under his command and can be a force to reckoned with, but he himself has not evoled to the true demon lord race and so can be seen as not that strong (unlike Milim who is a true demon lord and is f-ing strong), which is what Rimuru said too. Also, it was told that it was a hero who sealed Veldora away. As per isekai anime "general knowledge" a demon lord is someone who is destined to destroy/take over/rule over the world, and a hero is someone who is destined to stand up against the demon lord and save the world from destruction/the demon lord's reign. This ties into the people who are acknowledged as demon lords (not the "true" demon lords), as people see them as the ones destined to "rule" :p

I’m a fan of Slime, both the show and novels, but it really has some of the worst pacing of any story I’ve seen. The writer just really loves meetings, I think lol. If there is any opportunity to insert a meeting scene, the writer will pounce on it.
