No one knows how Sasori did it, but the theory is that Sasori had to poison him first in secret or something because no one saw or heard the fight. So he was probably taken by surprise. No way he could win fairly based on the Kazekages abilities.

Yeah this arc and the next arc are the too slowest arcs in Shippuden. But tbh o really don't think this arc is that slow. There's plenty going on through out it to keep it interesting but they tend to linger on a few parts for too long. The next arc is considered by many to be the worst arc in Naruto but the next 6ish arcs after is imo one of the best stretch of arcs I've seen in anime.

Yes I decided to rewatch the beginning of shippuden for the first time in years and there’s sooo many slow pans and repeating scenes in these first two arcs… such a different vibe to anime and tv these days… the arcs still remain interesting though, despite the pacing….

So Sakura has been training with Tsunade just as much, if not more, than Naruto has been training with Jariya during the time skip. Remember how Tsunade fought Orochimaru… it was mostly punches and kicks but she kept up with a “nerfed” Orochimaru. Her style just isn’t flashy but effective. Now Sakura is the same way. Nothing fancy but if she lands a blow the fight could be over.
