Yeah, this is the episode that officially made me hate Light. Pfft, I love the idea of watching the live action movies after you watch the anime. You can see how the studios fumbled. I will say the Fullmetal live action is a little better than the Death Note live action since they at least try to stick to the source material.

Light is messed up but its hard to hate him with how impressive he is. This is one of those shows where both the protagonist and antagonist are loved by everyone. Unfortunately, the netflix live action ruins everything that made this series great.

idk how many movie adaptations out there but the one I watched was good, the Japanese movie adaptation where Tatsuya Fujiwara played as Light and Kenichi Matsuyama as L. The story is slightly different but I like how compact it is compared to the anime.

Also, this show honestly was like my 5th real anime, but it was finally the smartest anime I watched and changed my whole perception of what I thought anime was. It is fun to see you go through the same transition especially when watching Naruto now (same time as I watched Deathnote).
