People still hyped to see Thorfinn fight? Didnt we all see how much Trauma the whole fighting and death brought Thorfinn? I hated to see him in his fighting stance again. Even if he fights for another reason i dont see him taking this well and maybe having even worse nightmares... idk tho

but he is not fighting to kill, he is to save someone. He has those nightmares because of the people he killed, Thors had his philosofy but even him had to fight. Thors didnt want to kill but he did fight. Sometimes u cant just stand and do nothing, even when u think there is another option.

I suggest after this episode to go and check the manga (chapter 85) the facial expression for thorfin and snake is waaay better than in the anime.

Although MAPPA did a great job in this anime , still not even close to the manga art, vinland saga manga is on different level and not comparable to any other manga or anime out there.

Based on the curved sword, is Snake from the Middle East somewhere? Persian maybe? He has the facial features, but it’s what I caught on to when the old master was speaking about slaves and was hunting Snake had ram away from somewhere based on his sword since the old master knows it’s not some European weapon.
