I second this. Kingdom is one of my three favorite manga along with One Piece and HxH. One idea is maybe you could do a manga live readthrough stream on youtube or twitch. Could be an alternative source of revenue while still fitting into the theme of anime/manga

Ron Buddy it literally says the ball is hit in a particular way so it has no spin at all, so its movements become unpredictable. Also u can see it in the Animamtion that it literally has no spin at all. I think Ron had some some leftover energy this ep. he was crazy xD

It might not be that popular but Ron at least might benefit from watching Bakuman the anime. It explains a lot of behind the scenes thoughts and issues manga writers have to deal with to make manga that then goes on to become anime. It also is a cute romance story that's got a lot of comedy and great characters in it too. Some of the stuff it goes into: differences in genre and art styles, wordiness, character design, and a whole bunch of other things including how ratings affect mangas and their animes. But yeah. I'm aware it might not be the most popular or get the most views. Might be something fun to watch in your freetime if nothing else.

it also got an anime the last 2 seasons are elite. the first season is a bit hard to go through because of the animation but the story is awesome. really recommend it if you haven't seen it yet.

I’m reading Vagabond and Berserk too, so far I’m really enjoying them! Those are aparently some of the best mangas with amazing panels (from what I’ve heard, I’m not super far in the series)and at least for Berserk the manga is much better than the anime adaptation in most people’s opinion. I’m also reading Goodnight Punpun, I’d recommend it if you’re interested in something a bit diffferent

Look into reading Solo Leveling! It’s what got me into reading instead of watching anime. It’s amazing and it’s getting an anime adaptation this year too. The story is pure HEAT

Also, a knuckle ball has little to no spin at all, so it doesn’t have a regular trajectory, it’s movement is random for the most part (wind changes it’s direction)

I had zero interest in volleyball until I read Haikyu 2 years ago, and now every time I watch volleyball clips, I always like "wow that's a quick attack! that's super long set! omg that pancake(a technique usually used by libero to put your palm on the floor under the ball)is insane!!" 🤣 Btw, I know it's quite confusing when they switch names, but it's very common in Japan especially for high school boys, they usually call each others using their last name but if they're very frank person like Noya, they sometimes call using first name, just like how Noya call Hinata as "Shoyo". But also, there are some cases depend on which is the easier way to call, like for example "Asahi", most people call him Asahi even his juniors call him like that, because his last name "Azumane" is quite long. But people like Kageyama who kinda have distance with others, still call Asahi as "Azumane". It may be confusing but in anime, the way of how they refer to other people's name could represent their characteristic and also relationship with others, so it's quite interesting. There's no exact rules (well for adults there are some rules tho), it's more cultural things and nuances.

It may seem counter intuitive but the jump float has no spin, As the air surrounding the volleyball transitions from laminar to turbulent flow, also known as the drag crisis, the erratic movement of the trailing air causes lift in the ball at random locations, leading to random movement of the ball :)

Exactly! A knuckleball in soccer is similar as you kick it so it doesnt have a spin which makes it move unpredictably. You can also do a curve kick which gives the ball a lot of spin making it curve, but the curve on it doesn't change unpredictably.

I don’t play volleyball, and I’m no physicist, so anyone can feel free to correct me, but it’s absolutely a real thing, but the wobble might be more dramatic in the anime. I think that the spin will make it cut through the air with more speed and can even put a curve on the ball, but it is actually pretty predictable once you see where it’s going. With the float serve, you want as little spin as possible so that it’s kind of pushing against the air and gives it a bit of a wobble. A lot of times with floats, it looks like the ball will just suddenly drop or even get more lift suddenly making it hard for the defender to connect

Was it just for me, or did this video have a lot of glitches in it? it kept stopping for half a second, and then resuming. And it didn't help to let it load, or go back a few second. The stops always happened at the same places.

I love your reactions to Haikyuu you even talk about the characters after the episode. I really want to hear your honest opinions about Suga since you really have not talked about after episodes, because he does something amazing in the next episode(Well I at least think he does). The reason I ask is because the last 3 episodes Suga has had a little more screen time than normal and you also finally got to see a little well tiny bit of his play style. I will let you know why I love Suga so much and it is not just because he is like a mom to the team.

Oh….since your getting into manga, can I recommend you read ‘Kingdom’. It’s has all the things you just said your interested in and more. Literally one of the most interesting Manga series I’ve ever read, it’s pretty long though but it’s worth it since it’s one of the best manga series . Anyways I’m really enjoying your guys Haikyuu reactions, can’t wait till you guys actually get to the episodes when the matches start. The hype is real

This is my first time commenting as a sushi squad member but I recommend reading vagabond !!! It is my favorite manga of all time. Filled with action, story telling, compasión, well written characters, and philosophical point of views. I’ve read it over and over and I enjoy it more and more every time. Its shown me a lot as an individual and how to perceive the world and those around me. Watching these videos always bring my mood up. Thank you for being awesome !!
