It is tragic that the eldians have no choice. There is the thought of wiping out everyone from Paradis without ifs and buts. It was often said in the first season: this world is just cruel. Either they fight to live or they don't fight and they all die. Ron noticed it, this sentence was already used in the first season and describes Eren's character perfectly. Would you let yourself be killed just because others see a "demon" in you (despite the fact that you are actually a good person) or would you fight to live? And as Eren often says: we are free because we were born into this world (very important sentence which also describes Eren‘s character deeply). Nobody has the right to take the life of the other, because we are all free. So do you fight to live or not fight and die?

I love that they showed the Eldians and Marleyans getting along. wen I 1st watched this I also wished that everyone could be friends and if there was another way like Armin said but what Eren says is the harsh fact that they face is that they are titan shifting demons in the mass majorities eyes and they cant simply undo over a thousand years of history with some sorries and handshakes. Also stopping your enemy from attacking you just makes sense there is no point in just waiting for Marley to kill more of your people to decide to do something to stop them or prevent it (handshakes and sorries wont prevent this) Rip Sasha, I feel bad for Niccolo and Connie/Jean

They should react to the full anime special version of the outro with english subtitles but only after catching up with all of the episodes cuz the song hits hella hard especially the meaning of it and it shows what Eren was feeling when he felt like a stranger to everyone, as well as the viewers, but then they reveal his thoughts through the song T^T I really hope they dooo

Niku(Meat) I read the manga in Japanese it said 肉 (Meat) not ニク or ニコ(Katana alphabet using for spelling foreign names and items). I don’t know how this headcannon of nico became so widespread

I'm once again asking you guys to switch to the Crunchyroll version. The subtitles on where you guys are watching are not it 😭 PLEEEAASSEE the future episodes are so good with Crunchyroll's subs. These ones sound like fansubs.

People keep saying they use different subs for editing than what they watch but this just isn't true. They actively repeat the subs at times so we know its the same version. And like you said these subs really aren't it. Although crunchyroll is very notorious for horrible translations and just fully changing lines because they think its funny. Adding words like "amogus" and "sus" to anime subs isn't exactly keeping it true to the manga

its a pretty big headache sadly bc our editor is in the Philippines and cant get access to the same crunchy roll subs we get. So we decided to compromise with him. Maybe for part 2 we will just watch crunchy roll and he will use a different subtitle, to edit with. Will work with him.

For what its worth, I think it would be totally fine for you to use Crunchyroll for the reactions while letting your editor use the subs available to them. There are plenty of other reaction channels that do the same, and as long as we know you have the more accurate subs on your end, it will stop any worries.

Yeah I think if you guys watch it on Crunchyroll while your editor uses his own subtitles available to him, it’ll be okay. I know a couple of big reactors who have the same thing going on and it’s never been a problem.
