Haikyuu is GREAT and I really advise u guys to watch Kuroko no Basket it’s SO HYPED!!! P.S: the boy’s name is Shouyou Hinata but in Japan they use honorifics after every name depending on the relationship ( which are san for older people ro show respect, kun for boys mostly, chan for more informal relationships such as close friends and sometimes people who try to look cute use tan). For example, Shou (short cut for Shouyou) + chan (because he’s his very close friend) so that’s why you hear him say ShouChan. It’s not his name it’s just the way to call him in a friendly way. You can hear these in all of the animes

For the most part I've stayed away from sports anime until Blue Lock came out. Watching this with you guys will be my first time watching Haikyuu. I already feel like I've been missing out.

If you finish this one and still craving more sports anime you should definitely check out hajime no ippo. It’s a boxing anime and pretty old but It’s my favorite anime and also probably one of the best sports animes in my opinion. Just a recommendation if your liking sports animes you surely won’t regret watching.

If you guys like the art style the studio is production I.G is also the studio for Kuroko no Basket. If you guys are interested in more of a thriller/ sci-fi show Psycho-Pass is an amazing show. Though the show the two shows I really want you to check out are Eighty-Six and Mushoku Tensei.
