whaaat? one of my favorite moments in season 2 was the talk between bertholdt and the group while they were running away from eren. the complicated regrets and the psychological damage reiner is dealing with even without the backstory context definitely make it grey area

oh shit I forgot to tell yall this but the author envisioned Eren's titan and Bruce Lee and Reiner's as Brock Lesner thats why they have the fighting stances that they have and are built the way they are.

wym you don't know whose side to be on? At this point of the show I honestly don't know why you would want to take bertolts and rieners side (even though i love both of them). Also the whole "whose the enemy thing" even though you don't know the full story, it's pretty clear who the enemy is at the current time (bertholdt, reiner and the beast). Like the beast, reiner and bertholdt are killing corps left and right but you still think they're innocent? Realistically regardless of their motivation, they are the enemy

considering they've only watched shows where the bad guy is either a good guy undercover or just simply misunderstood, it's not hard to consider the fact that they want to believe in them. just because you weren't conflicted here, doesn't mean others can't be, i was. reiner was a big part of the beginning and one of my favorite characters. they're very empathetic people and at this point in the show, there's more going on that just bad and good. it's so complex and people in their comment sections have told them not to make assumptions on this particular matter because they'll most likely be wrong.
