Turnip's such a Gentleman. Sophie was his true love, but when he saw that sophie loved Howl, he moved on quickly.

I'm pretty sure that Turnip Head is the prince of the kingdom that declared war on Suliman's kingdom(where Sophie lived), so he's not Suliman's son. So Turnip Heads kingdom declared war on Suliman, because they thought that they kidnapped the prince(Turnip Head). I don't even know if this makes sense lmfaoo.

That WAS Sophie's mom that sold her out! Sophie's sister, Lettie, just looks like their mom (blonde hair, blue eyes, big lips). If anything, her sister would be happy that she was living her life.

Loved the reaction, this is one of my favorite movies and books. Ive read it many times. You need to read the book, its similar but has a lot of differences, its more grown up story. And it will answer a lot of questions you guys had of course

They explained the With of the Waste better in the english audio, she was in love with Howl. Howl was a big womanizier in the book.

Some people explained to me that the curse that Sophie has, was a reflection of her inner self. In the past Sophie was an old lady inside, she never does young girls stuff nor cared about being pretty, even tho she IS a young girl, her mentality was old. As story progresses she gradually became younger because she became brave and wanted to take action to do something for her new family (Markl, turnip and etc..) Through love Sophie finds herself. The fact that Sophie's mom wasn't really surprised by her age was because she always acted like an old lady in the past so that's kinda fun there.

I know you guys only watch the original Japanese version of these BUT I highly recommend you watch and react to Howls’ scenes in English cuz Christian Bale is his VA and holy crap I just about passed out! He sounds SO good 🙌🏼

You should definitelty also check out Princess Mononoke (with lots of action for Ron xD) and also Arrietty and Nausicaa from Ghibli. Also the movie Ame and Yuki (Wolf Children), Belle, Perfect Blue.
