Hi Sushi Squad!! We are doing a re-reaction (lol) to the endings for Ep 1-3 of Chainsaw Man because we absolutely love the soundtrack to this show and want to examine the songs a little more. Hope you enjoy this little bit of extra content :)

Kon is Japanese way of describing how fox bark. Specific to fox. Like for cat it’s “Nya” in Japanese. That’s why Power call the cat “Nyako” but translated to “Meowy” in sub.

To answer your question about if the manga is finished before the anime airs, it typically is not. If it is a popular manga it will usually get an anime adaptation during its publication. Examples being the MHA and JJK mangas are still being written even though the anime has already started. The opposite does happen though, like the Demon Slayer manga ended sometime before the 3rd seasons release. Hopefully that answers your question :)

there is almost always a manga or light novel first (or both) then they release the anime to promote the manga or LN. generally the manga are in emission when an anime is released (for example the spy x family, MHA and chainsaw man manga have not finished yet) and in other cases they are finished. There are also some original animes (means they don't have manga or LN). in many cases they are not usually that popular, I would say that there are few that have managed to stand out (for example lycoris recoil, which is the most recent I have seen) and sometimes if they stand out or if the writer wants to, they usually make a manga/LN after the anime. also the movies that you have seen have manga or LN but I don't know which one was released first, the manga or the movie.

Most of the time the Manga has to go viral so that the animation project will be followed up. It's mostly always Manga or novel first then they decide to animate it.

I first heard of Maximum the Hormone with the song "Chu Chu Lovely Muni Muni Mura Mura Purin Purin Boron Nururu Rero Rero" It's a really long title but I loved it. Try listening to it. XD The song sounds so innocent and cute but the real meaning is about something else..
