Just clarifying what mado’s daughter said: She looked at the predatory data for about 3 years ago and noticed that the level of predatory attacks (ghouls attacking people) started declining and eventually leveled off. She speculates that “some” organization is behind this and is regulating the ghouls in the 20th ward (where antaiku is). The level of predatory attacks was stable until Rize first came to the 20th ward. Then she committed a large number of predatory attacks since she's a binge eater. This irregularity invited more investigators to the 20th ward. Mado's daughter believes Rize was killed by “some” organization in order to remove the amount of investigators in the 20th ward but she doesn't know if it was Aogiri or other organizations.

I think you guys might have gotten a bit confused when Akira (Mado) was talking. She wasn't saying that Aogiri needed to keep Rize in check, Aogiri is from the 11th ward, the 20th ward where Anteku (coffee shop and all the main characers) is, is the organization she's talking about. the 20th ward, was relatively peaceful due to this organization keeping ghouls in check (Anteku) so when Rize came to the 20th ward are started eating people and causing chaos, Akira is saying she think's the organization (Anteku) had to get rid of her to keep the peace they worked to create.

guys just a quick note, be careful about the 20th ward conversation. She was saying that Rize went on a rampage, which angered an organization that she believed to be keeping the ghouls in check. Then other colleagues asked if she was referring to Aogiri, and she responded "I never said that". Basically she's just saying there's an organization at work, not that it has to be Aogiri

I think Ron and Michele can watch the ending in Season 2, because the artwork is always different in each episode, besides the pictures are very beautiful and the songs too, maybe it can also give a little clue about what happened. Peace you all. Just a suggest.

I want to clarify that Rize is not an entity trying to possess Kaneki. Rize is a mentality or "demon" that tortures Kaneki's thought's. she was the first to bring him true despair so in his inner dialogue when he talks to her he is only flirting with despair. she is dead. there is nothing left of her

This being my third time watching this anime i've realized how fast paced this anime really is. It throws a lot of names at you and switches scenes quickly making it hard to keep up.

Well they can check for themselves to decide if they even want to give it a shot. For me I personally liked it I just had to get passed all the sexual parts but the whole storyline with the curse I liked & it had me hooked. Everyone has different opinions tho. I liked it a lot, you think it’s trash, no biggie. They might like it they might not no biggie :)

I personally really enjoy the mystery of the beginning of the season, but its really crazy just how much is just hinted at in the anime adaptation in retrospect - there's so much lore to everything going on rn & being set up rn its crazy

no its really drastic - there's so much lore, back when I first watched it (& I still didn't really like reading manga yet) I went on a TG wiki deep dive and pieced it all together and there's really unfathomably much left out/just hinted at/barely mentioned

some of the questions you were asking at the beginning of the episode are answered at the end of the season and some are also answered in season 3 which I really hope you react to based on your own assumptions of the anime and not on any of the comments saying you should or you shouldn't continue to watch the anime.

Rize isn’t like a Naruto and 9 tails thing she can’t just like take over she’s just in his mind, like a fragmented personality or a part of himself that he had to accept (his ghoul half) rather then an entity that’s alive and can take control
