I think that the pace thing they do in the animation. it is still dragging even it is not the add on episodes.

this arc is actually magical for me, it's filled with every single trope i love from this show and ofc the pacing problem is still there lol but all the little hints and the big reveals are so dear to me😭 i get so cheesy with it cause I MISS EARLY OP SO MUCH

Haha everyone talking about pacing issues which is quite true for long running and older animes. Anyway, you will learn about mantra in the near future and far future of this show. You mat still have questions after this arc but all answers will eventually be answered. It may take hundreds of episodes though.
