Akashi VA is the same with Levi and Meruem VA is the same as Shigaraki from my hero academia. Also Rakuzan 3 point shooter is so zesty 💀.

Ron, I guess this fun fact will be fascinating for you: most Generation of Miracle characters were inspired by real NBA players, their moves, skills, personalities, and even their hair colour represent the team colours where these players shined the most. Midorima – inspired by Larry Bird and Ray Allen from the Boston Celtics (green colours). These two did really crazy formless shots from all over the court. Kagami – probably you noticed it already, he's MJ from the Chicago Bulls (traditionally crimson red colours uniform): high jumps, meteor dunk, even his temperament. Aomine – it's Kobe Bryant from the Lakers (blue uniform), some of his moves were directly taken from Kobe's games, like the shot from the back side of the basket. Kise – was inspired by Kobe from the Lakers too (yellow uniform), his copying skill is a reference to the beginning of Kobe's career, when he copied Jordan move by move. Murasakibara – I guess Ron also mentioned it before, he's inspired by Shaquille O'Neal (he broke a lot of baskets), but he was also inspired by Wilt Chamberlain (as Chamberlain, Murasakibara did 100 points by himself in one game) from the Lakers (purple uniform). Akashi – he's kind of a mix of different players, you mentioned his elbow pass that was taken from Jason Williams, but regarding the ankle break move, I think it's a reference to Allen Iverson from the Philadelphia 76ers (red uniform). But yeah Akashi is too much unreal character, as well as Kuroko, to be based on someone real.

Meruem VA is Kouki Uchiyama who voices Shigaraki (MHA), Tsukishima (Haikyuu), Inumaki Toge (JJK), Itoshi Rin (Blue Lock), Rui (Demon Slayer) among other roles. Akashi VA is Hiroshi Kamiya who voices Levi (AOT), Jinpachi Ego (Blue Lock), Ittetsu Takeda (Haikyuu) among other roles.

The quote at 10:10 - 10:20 from Midorima really stuck with me, "There's no shame in falling, the real shame is not getting back up". I wonder if it resonates with you too Ron.

Yeah I agree fully with you. I believe truly that Rakuzan should win but plot armor and essentially the power of teamwork beats them. I understand why since the point of the show is about teamwork beats individual play but like Kagami stated at the beginning “practice only gets you so far”. Akashi is too OP to lose, I’m still salty about it😂

KM

Some really good predictions that can only come from someone who knows basketball really well. There are some skill-ups in the finals, but seirin plot armor is still strong as hell.

Blake Griffin did a alley-oop three pointer once by accident. You should check it out.
