It's been a little while, here's an update on how things are progressing :)

Harley x Batgirl Short Film

I'm nearly happy with the lighting setup, as well as optimizations for fake volumetrics to enable faster rendering and other tricks like that.

I'm slowly picking away at animating the scenes, with the current plan being to fully animate one scene so that it can be set rendering while I do the next. That way I don't end up with a huge number of frames to render off in one go.

The above preview was the rough version of the first few seconds, Esk's given me his usual tips on improving the animation and as always I've been helping teach him materials, lighting and Blender techniques in return.

Initially I lit the scene with a greenish hue as it appears in the game, but in color grading I decided that I wanted to pull away from the almost horror feeling that green gives off. I took some inspiration from the latest Batman movie too in grading it, but I might tweak it all further later on.

Esk Collab - Lightning Tease

My schedule has aligned with Esk's and we're teaming up on a short tease animation together! He is animating while I'm handling the materials, scene, lighting and physics.

It'll be a little while longer yet, but I'm going to be releasing a still image soon using the same project files, here's a preview with only a few bits left to finish up:

This uses the Lightning model I was commissioned to make for Esk, so it'll be a futa-only scene. I think he paid TheFastestGman to make the particle hair for her which looks really good!

Other Things

I have various other projects in varying stages of production, which I'd planned to keep working on alongside the Harley x Batgirl video as was polled, but with this collab in the works it has taken over priority. Once it's finished I'll go back to producing those small projects alongside the main short film.

Also I need to get around to making a behind-the-scenes video for Clara Lille's autofellatio animation, I've been so busy with these two big scenes that I haven't had the time, but I'll try and get it done asap for The Long One subscribers!
