I know I've been keeping thinks real pink so here is a nice dark scene! Get them goth baddies ready for a session at the alter.

This is a heavy scene so it may render slow. I made 4 variations of it to give some less intense options. Scenes in order from most involved to least...

For the versions with the animation, youre going to see a huge box on the alter, that is the domain of the animation. You have to click the box, click the physics tab and under cache click free all and then rebake it.

If you would like the blood effect on your sim like in my example renders...

You must free all like mentioned above, but before backing click on the drop down for your rig and then click the sim mesh, should be 2, both are the sim name and then glass after one of the. For both of these, you must enable them as effectors. Click the physics tab. Click Liquid. Change type to Effector under type and then check the "Is planar box". Then go back to where you pressed free all and when it bakes, it should now hit your sim.
