Hey guys thought I'd get in early and say happy new year!

2015 was was an ok year for Sexualobster's cartoon laboratory. No staff died and damage to the building was kept to a minimum.

Raw Latex 3 is chugging along. I'm over half way, and parts of it are starting to look good, though others are a bit flat and need work. But overall it is shaping up well.

Looking back over my three patreon projects thus far, I am generally happy with my efforts but I feel like there's room for improvement artistically and strategically.

- Piccolo: Attorney at Law. I'm 95% happy with this visually, although I feel like some of the jokes were not executed well, or were just funnier to me on paper (the plot must seem pretty weird to people who haven't seen the first one). Overall the first DBZ parody I made in 2013 was funnier, but I'm still ok with this one .

- Sweet Sweet Goo. I'm really happy with how this one came out. With the benefit of hindsight, some of the shots could have been executed a bit better and the sound could have used a bit more work. But overall, 9 crabs out of 10?

- Pleasure Island 5. I'm happy with this one visually. Because it is shorter than the other two, I was able to include some nice FBF animation, and I tried to be more ambitious with painted backgrounds, which has always been a weakness.   Unfortunately this cartoon is quite inaccessible to new people, and it feels incomplete since there's still the last one to make. Not as many people have watched it as I'd like, but hey, that's what you get when you revive an old series that most people don't remember or haven't seen.

Generally, the fact that I'm making long projects means my character animation is stretched pretty thin. As I mentioned in my last post, in 2016 I'd like to make cartoons that are shorter but denser, with a focus on improving my character animation and background art. Raw Latex 3 will be just under 4 minutes long, but the next few after that will probably be more like 1:30 - 2 minutes long.

Having continued 4 different series (well kinda, if you consider Sweet Sweet Goo an extension of Manwhore Industries), I'd like to work on some standalone projects. The # of views of my cartoons has decreased in the past few months, so I'd like to make some more accessible things that can bring some new people in.

Thanks for your support this year, see you in 2016!
