Quick announcement for APPLE USERS ONLY ‼️ (Patreon)

If you are using patreon via the IOS store you need to read this this is for you:

Starting November 2024 Apple will only allow you to pledge to patreon creators pages through the IOS App. This means there will be a 30% fee that taken from creators when you pledge. To supplement that they are allowing creators to increase prices for the IOS APP ONLY.

Firstly. If you plan on continuing your pledge you won't have to worry. But for example if you need to unsubscdibe and resubscribe later on you WILL have to purchase through the IOS App. This also obviously applies to new pledges.

I unfortunately will have to take advantage of the increase pricing fee for the IOS APP ONLY. Again THIS ONLY WILL APPLY IF YOU UNSUB AND RESUB AFTER NOVEMBER. IT WILL NOT APPLY AS LONG AS YOU STAY ACTIVE BEFORE & AFTER THE CHANGE.

IN SHORT: DO NOT RESUBSCRIBE THROUGH THE IOS APP IF YOU USE AN APPLE PRODUCT. REPLEDGE VIA PATREON.COM OR YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY THE INCREASED PLEDGE PRICING.

Q: So how should I pledge moving forward so I dont have to pay this extra fee?

Through Patreon.com DIRECTLY. Prices won't be increased for users who pledge directly through the website.

You can access patreon via your browser on your phone and use the browser to resubscribe that way.

I am in no way saying you have to stay an active pledge, if you have to unsub thats your right. I just want to make sure you don't have to pay that extra fee via the IOS app store if you decide to come back.
