Hello My Sinister Readers,

I find myself still trapped in my shitty hometown, and I must confess, progress on my writing has been slower than I anticipated—my sincerest apologies for that! I'm currently laboring away on the next chapter, but it's frustratingly stuck at around 2,000 words, a far cry from where I had hoped to be by now.

So, here I am, diligently typing away on my trusty old MacBook, deep in the dim confines of my grandma's dungeon—I mean, basement! I can hardly wait to return home, and that glorious day is just around the corner—Monday, to be precise! I simply need to persevere until then. I do believe I can wrap up this chapter by tomorrow (probably Saturday), but I'm not entirely confident that the second chapter for this week will make its debut by the end of the weekend. Fear not, though, for come Monday (technically Tuesday, because I probably won’t feel like writing after a few-hour plane flight with the worst seats ever!), I shall be back in the saddle and ready to regain some semblance of a writing routine. If, by chance, I miss the deadline for the second chapter, I shall make amends by releasing not one, not two, but three chapters next week—I hope. My sincerest apologies for any inconvenience!

Aside from these writing woes, I must admit that my time here has had its moments of enjoyment, nestled between my basement-based struggles to maintain focus on a mere paragraph or two. Hehe! I've also been occupied with entertaining my sister's two rambunctious toddlers, who have a knack for screaming and hurling toys. Oh, how I adore those little monsters! I might even consider indulging them with a ton of candy right before bidding my farewell. Bwahaha!

Anyway! Blake's second book is nearing completion, and once it's wrapped up, I intend to embark on the challenging endeavor of juggling two separate stories (Round 2) simultaneously: Blake’s Book 3 and the first draft of "Birthright" (though, truth be told, it's technically the second draft, but none of you have had the somewhat unpleasant pleasure of reading my initial attempt, so we'll call this the first). Hehe!

Speaking of "Birthright," let me give you a sneak peek into my little secret. I indulged in selecting names with deep meanings for the characters, like Zoe, which has Greek origins (Google said so!) and means... well, I'll leave that to your curiosity. Feel free to look it up if you're curious! Well, screw it, I'll spill the beans: Zoe isn't the main character in "Birthright." Nope, she'll have her own story in "Re: Life," or at least that's what I'm thinking of calling it – "Life Hereafter?" You see what I did there, don't you? Ha-ha!

Additionally, I'll be commencing the final draft for the first book of "Blake Pudding - Book 1: Am I Evil?" with the lofty aim of publishing it within this very year! Don’t worry, I’ll let all of you on Patreon read it first—once it’s done. I must confess, I'm equal parts excited and anxious about this undertaking. It marks a significant milestone in my writing journey. Consequently, I'm eager to hear your thoughts on the series, your likes and dislikes, and your desires for what should be included as I prepare to undertake a comprehensive rewrite for it. This rewrite (not a re-re-edit) will delve deeper into Blake's experiences in the dungeon and her adventures in slime form.

Thank you for your continued support and patience. I truly appreciate it!

Dark and insanely twisted regards,

Hereafter

Hereafter

Ugh, it appears that the next chapter release will likely be on a Saturday or Sunday. Man, I've got a ton of makeup work to do next week. LOL
