Hello, my delightfully dark readers,

With the holiday season in full swing, things have been quite hectic, and I must admit, I've fallen short of my two-chapter goal for this week. For that, I sincerely apologize.

I'll release the sneak peek for 'Birthright' on Monday, and I'll strive to deliver the two chapters for 'Blake' on schedule next week. Additionally, I'll try my best to put out a third chapter for next week to make up for this week. Things should start to calm down for me after Monday—at least briefly.

That being said, I'll be traveling around the middle of January, but I plan to bring my old laptop—I'll miss my desktop—with me to try and keep up with my deadlines as best as I can. 

We're approaching the end of Blake's second book in the coming weeks, and that's when I intend to roll out some new changes. At that point, I'll be releasing one chapter for Blake each week, with the target of hitting around 5k words per chapter. I'll be setting a similar goal for 'Birthright' as it starts its full release at that time. However, I want to note that not all chapters might reach those word count marks—that's more of a personal target I've set for myself.

Once again, I extend my apologies and am fully committed to making it up to all of you. On a side note, the image above serves as a little teaser for 'Birthright'.

Now, I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season! As for me, a somewhat pessimistic agnostic—or perhaps a wishful atheist—I'll definitely be making the most of my Christmas! I'm only in it for the alcohol. Tee-hee!
