Hey there, my lovelies!

Okay, let me level with you guys - I thought I had the Book 1, Chapter 2 rewrite in the bag on Saturday. But wouldn't you know it, I ended up spending all of Sunday obsessing over it and making little tweaks here and there until my eyes crossed. And of course, that meant I had to go back and give Chapter 1 some extra lovin' to keep everything in sync.

I thought I'd give you the scoop on some of the key updates I've made to Chapter 1:

Just wanted to let you all know that I've waved goodbye to "Unlockables" and said hello to "Selectables." If you stumble upon "Unlockables" anywhere in the story, just laugh it off as a relic of a bygone era. And if you happen to notice any other blunders or booboos, don't be shy – give me a good-natured smack on the head and let me know!

Moreover, Blake didn't acquire 4 skills after using Absorb on the first Trounce Spider. Instead, she only obtained Mana Sight, while the other 3 skills were gained once she dissolved and used Absorb on the remaining 9 Trounce Spiders.

Additionally, upon activating Mana Sight, she received a notification that she disregarded. We'll have to wait until Chapter 2 to find out what that message might have conveyed.

My heart raced excitedly as I mentally clicked on the Mana Sight option, desperate to regain sight and understand my surroundings. A quick notification popped up as I selected it, but I disregarded it without bothering to read it. The thought of being trapped in perpetual darkness was unbearable, and I longed to see the world again!

Oh, and one more thing – I realized that the "Do you wish to Absorb" notification for the Ghoul was MIA, so I snapped at it and fixed that right up. Also, I uncovered a couple of areas with some minor repetition that I took care of, but no need to fear – It won't turn the story on its head. And hey, just between us, I did a bit of tinkering with some phrases in certain parts of the chapter – you know, just to keep things fresh and spicy.

Hey there, my twisted little minions – I've got some spine-tingling news to share. Book 1, Chapter 2 is coming atcha tomorrow, but I'm feeling a little devilish, so I'll make you a deal.
