As you can see, I'm finished with Sage.


Ok maybe a couple things to clean up... Still need to fix the rig, texture and fur her!

As a person with some experience in modeling/rigging/animation, (albeit not as much experience as I'd like), I can say that the visible parts of that rig look pretty good so far. I can definitely see some unwanted problems with skin weighting for the area around the upper torso at the end of that twist, though. I also really hope you're using .ma files, not .mb -- Maya ASCII files are actually encoded using text, so you can edit them by hand if needed (e.g. using Notepad or Notepad++), so there's less chance of losing your work to a corrupted file. Maya Binary, alternatively​, isn't editable by hand using Notepad. (IDK if it can even be opened by anything besides Maya, but I haven't looked into it recently​.) (Don't forget to save incremental backup copies of the work, and ideally have an automated backup system established for your work, set for multiple external drives. I've seen a lot of creators lose work to stuff like corrupted drives, which really sucks :(. )

Yes this was more of a joke post as it's pretty apparent that there is quite a bit of weight painting to go. Yep you're correct about using .ma files, I learnt that lesson the hard way many years ago. This is version 10, my rigs usually end up being version 30 or so by the end. I think Cookie is at about 40 0_o

My first thoughts was she looks real goofy in that gif, partly due to the look on her face. And her skin did not bend right. ^.^
