Hmm...what next? A poll! (Patreon)

Lost, aimless writer here to ask an important question:  what should I work on next??  

Sure, I'll be moving soon and life will be in disarray, but that doesn't mean I can't sink myself into another story.  It'll take a little longer to finish, but we have other stories to read in the meantime!  

What are the choices, you ask?  Well, that's where it gets fun - they're all White Rose.  Shocking, I know.  I probably have a half-finished Bumbleby fic somewhere, but it's not on my radar so can't be on this list.

Alright, I'm done rambling.  Here are your options and a short blurb on each.  Keep in mind that stories can always change and yada yada, but this is how I imagine them at this point in time.

1. Mythology AU

(I don't know much about any kind of mythology, so don't expect historical accuracy!)  Weiss plays the role of a goddess with a bit of a superiority complex when it comes to humans, so good ol' Grandpa decides to teach her humility by sending her to live amongst the dumb, trivial humans.  Far from home, can Weiss figure out what makes humanity so special?

Also featuring Ruby "I think we should help her" Rose, Yang "this chick is from outer space" Xiao Long, and Blake "I'm only here to stare at Yang" Belladonna.

2. Diva AU

Weiss is a famous actress; Ruby is her assistant - need I say more?

Of course I'll say more.  I literally talk to much.  

In the movie industry, Weiss is well known for being...demanding.  No one wants to work with her, but Ruby's the new kid on the block so has no choice.  Ruby, however, is determined to stick it out no matter how sarcastic, bitter, and condescending Weiss is.

Will Ruby quit like the others, or can she get Weiss to soften up?  (aka the 'let me write snappy Weiss with a heart of gold' AU)

3. Breakup AU

(aka the 'how early in the story can I hit you with angst' AU)

Ruby and Weiss were high school sweethearts, but life didn't go the way they planned.  Tragedies happened, people changed, and not even the perfect couple could weather those storms.

After going their separate ways, only an unfortunate accident brings them back into each other's lives.  But time has passed, and they aren't the people they once were.  Did they miss their chance?  Or can they find a way to love and respect the people they've become, flaws and all?

4. *cough*  a...slightly smutty AU...

This is rated for adults only because there will be many steamy scenes, but it's me so of course there are abundant feelings and plot.

As a Schnee, Weiss can have anything she wants.  There's one thing, however, that she very vocally, and repeatedly, says she'll never have - a relationship.  She has her reasons, but she never explains them to Ruby, who accepts their friends-with-benefits relationship in lieu of nothing.  

When someone new pops into Ruby's life and starts taking up more of Ruby's time, Weiss is forced to reevaluate her choices.  If she doesn't change her tune, will she lose Ruby to someone else?

I doubt any of you believed that for a second.  The others just go on the backburner, where they might fry to a crisp before ever seeing the light of day.  But they'll still be there!
