What's this?  Another chapter of this random universe where Weiss is sassy and Ruby is...also sassy?  This is the last one, so enjoy!

Also, 18+ only.  And if you don't like smut, stay away!   Leave this one on your 'don't read' list if you're not 18 or don't like stories of the sexual type.

Next week (or the week after??), we'll start The Lie!  My life's been a little hectic recently, so we'll see if I need that week off or not...

“I’m telling you - it’ll be a hit.”

With Yang still insisting she was right, Weiss rolled her eyes and sent Blake another knowing look.  Blake, meanwhile, very subtly shook her head before giving Yang a patient smile.

“Why do you like that one so much?”

“Because it reminds me of me and you.”

When Yang used the fork in her hand to gesture between them, Blake leaned back against the sofa and smiled.  As usual, it took only a single sentence for Blake to lose the rational, judicious way of thinking she normally had.  Instead, she looked at Yang with absolute adoration and responded with a simple, elegant, “That’s cute.”

Understanding that they would make eyes at each other for a while, Weiss checked the time and realized it was past time for her to leave.  “I should get going now,” she interrupted as she gathered her things and stood up.  “Ruby will be back soon.”

“You two have special plans tonight?” Yang asked while Weiss slipped her arms through the sleeves of her jacket.

“Not really.  We’ll probably just have dinner and catch up.”

When Yang nodded and headed into the bedroom for something, Blake leaned over and tapped Weiss’ elbow.

“You’re only having dinner?”

“What does she expect me to say?” Weiss replied in a hushed voice.  “That I’m going to rail her little sister all night?”

“So that’s the real plan.”

“Please, Blake.  Ruby’s been gone for two weeks - she’s not walking straight tomorrow.”

Weiss smirked at the evening she had in store for Ruby, but that feeling of triumph disappeared when Blake’s gaze locked onto something over her shoulder.  As soon as she turned around and saw Yang standing behind her, a shirt in her hands and a look of utter disbelief on her face, Weiss plastered on a smile and hurried to the door.

“Anyway, I don’t want to be late,” she offered on the way out.  “See you tomorrow.”

Before either of them responded, she shut the door behind her, blew a breath through her lips, and headed home.  That wasn’t the classiest exit, but hopefully Yang forgot by the time practice rolled around.  If Blake went out of her way to help Yang forget, Weiss would be in her debt.  Again.

But that was a concern for later.  Right now, her number one priority was welcoming Ruby home.  Part of her still believed Ruby agreed to go on this trip for the sole purpose of making Weiss suffer in her absence.  If that was Ruby’s plan...well played, because that was exactly what happened.

Not that Weiss would ever admit it, of course.  For all Ruby knew - and would ever know - she was perfectly content to spend two weeks apart while one-quarter of their band competed in some fancy guitar-playing competition over winter break.

It didn’t bother her at all that the rest of them weren’t allowed to go, watch, or even know the results before the show aired.  It bothered her even less that the other contestants were all young, attractive, and single.  At least half of them were probably immediately interested in Ruby, and the other half undoubtedly were before the two weeks were up.

None of that bothered Weiss - not one bit - but she would use tonight as an opportunity to wipe all of them from Ruby’s mind.  Not that Ruby would be interested in any of them anyway.  Why would she be when she had Weiss?

Not that she had Weiss in any way, shape, or form.  There might be instances when Weiss agreed to let Ruby take liberties not granted to anyone else, but that was different from belonging to another person.  That was her argument, at least, and she was sticking to it until someone pried it from her grasp.  Since her pointless pre-law courses had taught her how to be an even more effective arguer than she’d already been, the likelihood of someone being able to do that was slim to none.

The not-at-all bothersome separation ended today, which Weiss took a normal amount of comfort in while hurrying across campus.  Ruby’s return also meant winter break would end soon, explaining the general restlessness in the air.  It felt like everyone was out with the intention of having ‘one last hurrah’ before classes resumed.  She wanted to judge them for it, but hadn’t that been her purpose for spending time with Blake and Yang that afternoon?

‘One last hurrah’ was a more reasonable explanation than loneliness, as she couldn’t possibly be lonely when she was used to being alone.  That restless energy also explained why her heart beat faster as she approached her apartment building - or ‘rich kid city,’ as Ruby called it.  Campus was abuzz with life, and that atmosphere affected her like it would any other normal human being.  That feeling even followed her into the lobby, where voices and laughter reached her ears, and all the way to her apartment door.

Everyone was taking advantage of what little free time they had left, and maybe she should do the same.  Of course, she had to wait for Ruby before that could happen.

No sooner had she unlocked her apartment door and let herself inside did she sense a change in the air.  A glance at the bag on the floor confirmed it, as did the pair of scruffy sneakers that she wouldn’t be caught wearing if someone paid her.

She hated and loved those sneakers, which she’d threatened to throw out more than once.  Tonight, however, seeing them made her heart inexcusably jump in her chest.  She hardly set her bag on the entryway table before searching out their owner.

“Ruby?” she called out while heading to the kitchen.

Upon turning the corner and finding herself face-to-face with the person she’d been looking for, however, she couldn’t decide whether she wanted to smile or scowl.  Deciding that a scowl was the most appropriate response, she frowned and crossed her arms while Ruby drank milk straight from the carton.

“Is there a problem with our glasses?”

“I was thirsty!” Ruby replied with that too-gorgeous smile she’d somehow perfected without practice.  That smile, combined with her inexplicably attractive outfit, lit the fire Weiss had barely kept to a smolder this entire time.  It never seemed to matter what Ruby wore or didn’t wear - she was effortlessly sexy in a way Weiss couldn’t get enough of.  And believe her - she’d tried.

“I don’t care if this has my face on it,” she snapped while snatching the carton from Ruby’s hand and walking to the cupboard.  “You promised to behave like a civilized human being - that’s the only reason I let you move in.”

“Right.  The ‘only’ reason.”  When Ruby laughed off the comment, Weiss narrowed her eyes.

“That was the only reason,” she stated while pouring Ruby an actual glass of milk and handing it over.

“Uh huh.  It had nothing to do with us being girlfriends all.”

The word sent a tremble through Weiss’ veins, which only combined with the fire burning in her chest when Ruby waggled her brow and raised the glass to her lips.

“We’re not - we’re not that,” Weiss argued like she normally did, though it would have come out more convincingly if she wasn’t so distracted watching Ruby drink from the glass.

How could someone with the upbringing of an alley cat make drinking look sexy?

“We’re not dating?”  When Ruby set the glass on the counter, Weiss struggled not to show how much that word affected her.  “Really?  Huh...guess I was just confused by living together, going on dates and stuff, and then there’s the sex -”

“It’s a mutually beneficial arrangement.”

“Oh yeah.  Definitely mutually beneficial,” Ruby replied with a laugh.  The sparkle in her silver eyes warmed Weiss’ heart to an almost uncomfortable degree - something only Ruby had ever been able to do.  “One of these days, you’ll admit we’re dating.”

Ruby looked unperturbed by Weiss’ denial.  Instead, she winked and took her empty glass to the sink.  After filling it with water, she returned to Weiss with a smile that suggested she knew their banter wasn’t over.

“If we were dating,” Weiss replied, crossing her arms over her chest so that she wouldn’t reach for Ruby’s hands.  “You would’ve brought something home from your trip for me.”

The instant Ruby grinned, Weiss knew that was the wrong thing to say.  Holding up one finger, Ruby walked over to the dining table and picked up a small, wrapped package that hadn’t been there this morning.

“I got this for you.”

“Why would you do that?”  Even though it was what Weiss secretly wanted, she didn’t keep the exasperation out of her tone while taking the gift from Ruby’s hand.

“I dunno...because I was thinking about you, I missed you, and I wanted to bring something back for you - like any good girlfriend would do.”

That response shouldn’t have made Weiss’ heart flutter, but it did, and she ignored it by looking at the package in her hands.

“It’s a prank, isn’t it?” she guessed while sliding her finger underneath the seam to tear off the paper.

“Why don’t you open it and find out?”

Weiss didn’t know if she wanted to open it.  Of course, she wanted to open it, but doing so exposed her to a potential surprise that might give Ruby more of an upper hand than she already had.  But Weiss couldn’t just ignore the present.  Actually, she could.  She had in the past.

But this time, she slowly removed the paper and simultaneously prepared her response.  If it was a joke, she had to be ready.  If it wasn’t a joke...she also had to be ready.

“It’s a...t-shirt.”  After dropping the wrapping paper on the table, she unfolded the shirt, read the words printed across the front, and scowled.  “‘I scream in A-sharp?’” she said while Ruby giggled.  “How old are you?”

“Old enough to know you scream in A-sharp,” Ruby replied with a cheeky wink.  She looked way too proud of the horrible joke, and her pride only added frustration to Weiss’ underlying disappointment.

“I believe this belongs to you since you’re the screamer.”

Weiss had already shoved the shirt into Ruby’s chest and turned away by the time Ruby caught her by the hand.

“Wait!  Just - wait a second.”

With literally anyone else, Weiss would have pulled away and stormed off.  With Ruby, she sighed and turned around.

“That’s just one of your gifts,” Ruby explained before removing a small, square box from her pocket.  “This is the other one.”

Considering how well the first one went over, Weiss refused to take the box and risk yet another disappointment.  Somehow, Ruby understood that, as she waited only a second before opening the box and holding up this second gift for Weiss to see.

“I saw this and immediately thought of you.  Since your family’s into snowflakes and stuff.”

In the box rested a silver necklace with a small, silver snowflake pendant hanging upon it.  While not extraordinarily fancy and probably not very expensive, it seemed to be of decent quality.  And snowflakes were important to Weiss’ family, as well as to her personally, which explained the way her heart reacted upon seeing it.

“Am I forgiven?”

“Do you try to piss me off?” she replied rather than give the obvious answer.

“Sometimes, yeah,” Ruby admitted before smiling.  “But that’s one of the reasons you like me.”

“A bold assumption.”

“That’s me.  Pretty damn bold.”  Ruby laughed this time, which nearly got Weiss to smile.  Fortunately, she caught it at the last second and was offered a reprieve when Ruby motioned for her to turn around.

Weiss only did as instructed so that Ruby could put the necklace on for her.  Dealing with those small clasps was difficult, making it acceptable to let someone help.  With Ruby standing behind her though, she let her eyes drift shut and savored the feeling of Ruby’s hands gently brushing against her neck.  Every small touch sent a spark of excitement through her veins and reminded her of what she’d been missing in Ruby’s absence.

She didn’t mind living alone, but it got a little boring from time to time.  Having Ruby around was never boring.  It could be aggravating, frustrating, and annoying, but never boring.

“There,” Ruby said once the necklace was in place.  Weiss touched her fingers to it while turning around.  “How does it feel?”

“Like a necklace,” Weiss answered dryly, much to Ruby’s amusement.

“Well it looks great.”  When Ruby leaned forward and kissed Weiss’ cheek, Weiss struggled to get her heart under control.  “You look great,” Ruby added, only making it worse.  “Never thought I’d get you to wear something that didn’t have any diamonds.”

“I’m pitying you because you just got home,” Weiss replied but, as she ran one finger along the side of the pendant, she knew she wasn’t taking the necklace off anytime soon.  Maybe it didn’t have diamonds, but Ruby saw it and thought about her - and thought enough of her to actually buy it and bring it home.

While Ruby could have been making friends with other young, hot guitarists, she was thinking about Weiss.

“Did you win?”

“I can’t tell you.”  When Weiss sighed, Ruby stepped closer and gently touched her hand.  “But you’ll find out when the show airs!”

“Really?  You don’t think I can keep a secret?”

“Uh, no.  You told Yang we were sleeping together at like our second practice.”

“Yeah, well -”  Weiss didn’t have a great excuse for that, but she still scoffed and flipped her hair over her shoulder.  “She suspected we were anyway.”

Inspecting her nails rather than make eye contact, she hoped Ruby let it go without an argument.  She already knew it was her fault for slipping, but she’d been...excited...about the unexpected change in her life.  That excitement had made it a little difficult to keep such a secret to herself, and she ended up referring to Ruby’s somewhat enviable skills in certain...sexual situations.

It turned out fine in the end, but that hadn’t been one of Weiss’ finest moments.  Unfortunately, Ruby seemed to have that effect on her, as evidenced by the other slipups she’d experienced since that day.

“That’s probably the most embarrassed I’ve ever seen you.”  Ruby laughed at the memory while lightly drumming her fingers on Weiss’ hip.  “Well that, and the time you forgot to lock the door -”

“You were supposed to lock the door,” Weiss argued, though she inched forward to be that much closer to Ruby.

“I distinctly remember you saying you would lock it.”

“Then your hearing must be impaired from all the screaming you do.”

The insult had no substance, and Ruby knew it - that’s why she laughed and easily met Weiss’ gaze with that gorgeous silver stare.  The longer this conversation went on, the more Weiss wanted a kiss.  The only problem was that she didn’t really know how to ask for one without coming off as utterly demanding.  Usually, Ruby initiated...and right now, Ruby wasn’t initiating.

How much closer did Weiss have to stand before Ruby got the picture?  Because they were already nearly pressed against one another, and Ruby already had her hands on Weiss’ waist, and Weiss even reached out to gently brush her fingers through Ruby’s hair.  Being back together was fine, but it left her wanting in a way conversation alone wouldn’t solve.

“We should do something special tonight,” she offered, adding extra emphasis on ‘special’ so that Ruby would get a clue.

“I thought we were having dinner.”  In the midst of Weiss shaking her head, Ruby’s eyes lit up with a thought.  “Oh!  I hope you don’t mind, but I invited Penny over.”

“You - what?”

“You said we’re having dinner tonight,” Ruby explained slowly.  “So I invited Penny - is that cool?”

While Ruby offered the news without the faintest dent in her perfect smile, there were so many things wrong with the rationale that Weiss hardly knew where to start.  Was it ‘cool’ to invite someone over when they were finally together after weeks apart?  Even if the time passed quickly - which it certainly had for Weiss, now that she thought about it - shouldn’t they spend at least one evening catching up?  And why hadn’t Ruby kissed her yet?

This was what she got for using euphemisms instead of coming right out and saying what she wanted...

“You haven’t even asked what’s for dinner,” she pointed out.

“I’m sure it’s good!  You always pick good stuff.”

“That’s true…” she mused, only to grab Ruby’s arm when she tried to move away.  “Invite Penny over tomorrow.”  When Ruby’s brow furrowed, she sighed and spelled out the situation so that anyone with a handful of brain cells could understand.  “Because I’m having you for dinner tonight.”

That was more forward than she’d planned on, but the results couldn’t be argued with.  Finally, a smile settled on Ruby’s lips and delight shone from her eyes.  It was her hands, however, that served as the true voice of reason by drawing Weiss’ hips into hers.

“So you did miss me.”

“Shut up and kiss me already.”

This time, Ruby didn’t keep her waiting.  Their lips locked the next second, and an unexplainably light feeling bubbled up in Weiss’ chest now that she had Ruby in her grasp once more.  The last two weeks of missing Ruby flitted away when she ran her hands up Ruby’s sides, across her chest, and through her short, soft hair.

Kissing Ruby was still inexplicably exciting - so much so that Weiss couldn’t believe she’d been forced to wait those few minutes to finally get to this moment.  Intent on communicating that dissatisfaction, she curled her fingers into fists and lightly tugged at Ruby’s hair, only for her desire to spike when Ruby moaned into her mouth.

God, she loved how vocal Ruby was about every damn thing that turned her on.  It made this so easy for Weiss, who only had to find those buttons and push them over and over again, which she gladly did as their kiss deepened.  Soon, their breaths came in shortened gasps while their tongues tasted as much of each other as possible.

For as greedy as Weiss was right now, Ruby somehow seemed even greedier.  Her hands never stopped wandering, touching and feeling and groping everywhere before pushing Weiss’ jacket off of her shoulders and letting it fall to the floor.  With that first barrier out of the way, Ruby started her exploration all over again - though this time her hand slid under Weiss’ shirt and touched every inch of skin she could get her hands on.

The moan building in Weiss’ throat forced her to break away from Ruby’s lips as she struggled to control herself, prompting Ruby to kiss her neck instead.  Some of those kisses lingered long enough to send sparks down her spine.  Some were such short teases that she gritted her teeth and pulled at Ruby’s hair in frustration.

Every touch stoked the fire running through her veins, but Ruby showed no signs of letting up.  If anything, she seemed far more eager than she’d portrayed, which clued Weiss into something fairly important.

“You didn’t invite Penny over, did you.”

She knew it was true when Ruby’s kisses briefly paused before moving up to her ear.

“You fell for it,” Ruby whispered, much to Weiss’ dismay.  She had a lot to say about that, but a gasp slipped through her lips when Ruby bit her ear and simultaneously slid a hand between her legs.

God, she wanted more of that, but what Ruby just admitted deserved dealing with first.

Recapturing Ruby’s lips, she pushed forward until the back of Ruby’s legs hit the dining room table.  “Up,” she demanded between kisses, only to hum in pleasure when Ruby willingly complied.  Honestly, she didn’t know what turned her on more - when Ruby submitted or when Ruby refused to go down without a fight.

Both.  She loved both.

And she loved how Ruby sat at the edge of the table, letting Weiss stand between her legs and tilting her chin up to accept Weiss’ kisses.  Very little got Weiss in the mood like feeling taller, stronger, or smarter than Ruby - three areas where Ruby challenged her time and time again.  Right now, she had the height advantage, and she planned on using it.

“Someone’s in a hurry,” Ruby mumbled against Weiss’ lips while she slid both hands up Ruby’s thighs.

“I love when you wear skirts…” she murmured in response, too distracted by the uninhibited freedom of Ruby’s outfit to acknowledge anything else.  The only thing preventing her from having everything she wanted was Ruby’s underwear, which was quickly pulled free and discarded on the floor.

Their kisses paused in that brief moment as Weiss met Ruby’s gaze, finding open desire in silver eyes.  The look must surely be reflected in her own, as all she wanted right now was to hear Ruby cry out her name and fall apart under her fingers.

“Forgot how this works?” Ruby teased, though the lust in her eyes gave away how badly she wanted the wait to end.  If Weiss had any patience, she would make Ruby regret that comment.  But she didn’t, so she smirked and stepped closer.

With Ruby’s legs loosely wrapped around her, she had the perfect position to slide her hand up Ruby’s thigh and between her legs.  Ruby’s eyes fluttered as soon as Weiss touched her, and Weiss’ desire shot off the charts when she felt how wet Ruby was.

That was for her.  She turned Ruby on.  Screw all the other people fighting for Ruby’s attention - Ruby came home and wanted Weiss to fuck her.  And that’s exactly what Weiss was going to do.

She slipped one finger in first, watching Ruby’s eyes close and her mouth open with a soft gasp, before pulling out and seamlessly adding another.  This time a quiet moan slipped through Ruby’s lips, voicing her agreement and sparking Weiss’ desire to continue.  Ruby’s skirt might be concealing what Weiss was doing, but she didn’t need to see as she slowly removed her fingers and thrust in again, with even louder results.

She loved how Ruby responded to her touch with enthusiasm and agreement that even the neighbors heard.  Surprisingly, she didn’t mind in the slightest.  When she had Ruby here like this - or in their bed, or on the sofa, or in the shower, or pressed against the front door - all she wanted was for everyone else to know to keep their hands off.

They would be reminded soon enough, as she leaned forward and captured Ruby’s lips for hungry kisses while her hand set a steadily climbing pace between Ruby’s legs.  The slow start grew faster as Ruby’s breathing began hitching in her throat, and it wasn’t long before she was too distracted to keep up with Weiss’ kisses.  That was when she tilted her head back and let out those sweet, sweet sounds of pleasure for everyone to hear.

“God, Weiss -” Ruby moaned when Weiss pulsed her fingers as deep as she could reach.  The repetitive motion made Ruby even more breathless as she wrapped her arms around Weiss’ neck and her legs around Weiss’ hips, giving Weiss less room to work with but spurring her on at the same time.

Resuming a quick pace with her fingers, she pressed kisses all over Ruby’s neck and collar, claiming every bit of skin with her lips while listening to Ruby’s breathy cries in her ear.  Making Ruby feel good made her feel so damn good, she didn’t pause to consider the strain in her arm from the deep, constant movements.  That mattered little compared to Ruby’s pleasure, and she was determined to send Ruby to the peak of pleasure as fast as possible.

“Fuck,” Ruby breathed out, her eyes struggling to focus while Weiss thrust in and out of her.  “Fuck.  Fuck, Weiss...god - harder.”

Ruby didn’t have to ask twice.  Her wish was Weiss’ command, and Weiss responded by putting even more force behind her ministrations.  With every thrust, she buried her fingers up to her knuckles, curled up to hit that spot she knew Ruby loved, before pulling out and slamming back in again.  There was no ‘too hard’ in this moment, as Ruby tilted her head back and spurred Weiss on with the moans slipping through her lips.

She was close.  Weiss felt it in the tightness around her fingers, heard it in Ruby’s voice, and saw it in the involuntary movements of Ruby’s hips, greedily rising up to meet Weiss’ hand.

“Weiss -”  Ruby’s words were breathless now, blending in with the sounds of Weiss’ fingers moving in and out of her.  “Weiss - I’m gonna come - fuck, I’m gonna -”

The rest of that sentence was lost in a cry of pleasure, as Ruby threw her head back and let the entire building know just how good she felt right now.  As her walls clamped down on Weiss’ fingers and her arms clutched Weiss tightly to her, Weiss did her best not to lighten the pace while dragging that climax out as long as possible.

It was only when Ruby’s muscles relaxed and her head tilted forward that Weiss slowed to a stop.  When Ruby leaned forward and rested her forehead against Weiss’ shoulder, apparently in need of a few more seconds to recover, Weiss slowly pulled out her fingers and smiled at the small gasp that reached her ears.

“You ok?” she asked while reaching over and wiping her hand on one of the napkins laying out on the table.

“I think so…”  Ruby’s voice was hoarse from the set she just put on, and it took her several more seconds before she leaned back and focused on Weiss.  “Jesus, maybe I should go on trips more often.”

“Please don’t.”  When Ruby’s brow rose, Weiss rolled her eyes and waved the comment away.  “Your sister was borderline insufferable while you were away.”

“You didn’t have to hang out with them, you know.”

“Yeah, well, the band doesn’t just stop when you’re gone.”  Feeling somewhat spent from the physical exertion she just put herself through, Weiss motioned towards the living room before heading over to the sofa.  “We still have songs to practice,” she added with a glance at Ruby, who gave a playfully understanding nod before hopping off the table and pulling her skirt back into place.

“Having issues?” Weiss asked when she noticed Ruby walking a little more gingerly than usual.

“Pretty sure I can still feel you inside me,” she replied, much to Weiss’ content, before sitting on the sofa and gently pulling Weiss onto her lap.  “Thank you for taking care of everything while I was gone,” she added while wrapping her arms around Weiss’ stomach and nuzzling into the back of her neck.  “I appreciate it.”

Even though Weiss sighed, it wasn’t purely aggravation this time.  Apparently, Ruby was going to be all sweet with her now, which happened from time to time when they weren’t busy trying to fuck each other into submission.  She didn’t mind it.  It was just...a little much for her heart sometimes.

“Are you going to admit you missed me now?” Ruby whispered in her ear before pressing a short, soft kiss to her neck.

“You wish…”

Heart fluttering from the small touches, Weiss tilted her chin to the side and sighed when Ruby got the message to trail those kisses lower.  Ruby wanted to hear it, but Weiss wasn’t great with those types of admissions.  Actions she could do.

Fortunately, Ruby somehow understood Weiss better than anyone else ever had, and didn’t press the matter any further.  Instead, Ruby trailed those sweet little kisses everywhere, making Weiss feel adored and desirous at the same time.

“I won, by the way.”

It took several seconds before Weiss understood the comment, as she had to blink away her growing desire first.  Once she did, however, she glanced over her shoulder to confirm the truth in Ruby’s eyes.  The news made her smile as she leaned back into Ruby’s embrace.

“Of course you did,” she murmured while setting her hand over Ruby’s and accepting even more soft, tender kisses.

Of course Ruby won - she was a damn good guitarist.  Beyond that, she had an incredible amount of attitude and personality she added to her style, which made her an incredible joy to watch.

“If you lost, we would’ve replaced you,” Weiss added before her thoughts wandered too far down that road.  Hearing Ruby’s laugh, however, filled her with the light, happy feeling she’d been lacking the last two weeks.

“I figured,” Ruby mumbled while brushing her lips across Weiss’ ear and letting one of her hands slide down Weiss’ stomach.  “The judges said I’m really good with my hands,” she added, though Weiss found it hard to concentrate on the words as her attention drifted south.

“Is that so?” she managed to whisper.  A soft gasp escaped her lips a second later, as Ruby’s fingers slipped under the hem of her pants only to quickly disappear.

“That’s what they said.”

Ruby was going to be an insufferable tease - that much became clear when she again slid her hand into Weiss’ pants only to pull out without accomplishing anything.  And this proved why it was worse to go second.  Weiss was already more than ready, and every bit of teasing affected her at least twice as much as usual.

“My fingering, in general,” Ruby added, the smile evident in her tone.  “They said was particularly good.”

This time, she trailed her fingers right underneath the band of Weiss’ panties, unleashing a surge of desire for more before moving away.

“Ruby.”

Patience evaporating, Weiss grabbed Ruby’s wrist, shoved that hand back into her pants, and ground her hips forward to finally make contact where she really needed it.

And god did that feel good.

“Jesus, Weiss...” Ruby breathed into her ear as she held Ruby’s hand in place and rubbed her clit against it.  “You’re wet.”

Under ordinary circumstances, she’d have a snappy remark about stating the obvious.  Now wasn’t the time for that though, as she used Ruby’s hand like a toy until Ruby finally started moving on her own.  Another gasp slipped through her lips almost immediately, and it took only a few strokes of Ruby’s fingers to convince her that she had missed this.

Even though she’d tried to imagine Ruby’s hands on her in as much vivid detail as possible, nothing compared to the real thing.  For as calloused as Ruby’s fingers were from years of playing guitar, they were incredibly soft, gentle, and purposeful when sliding between Weiss’ legs.  Of course, by now she knew exactly what she was doing - that much was obvious from the way she dipped her finger into Weiss’ entrance before dragging that growing wetness upward at a slow, methodical pace she knew would drive Weiss crazy.

“Ruby…” she got out, unbuttoning her pants and spreading her legs in hopes Ruby would give in.  She didn’t want to beg - she swore she wouldn’t beg again - but her body didn’t care about those past promises.  Now that Ruby had started this, Weiss needed her to finish it...and as quickly as possible.

But Ruby always knew when she had the upper hand, and this time she used it to her advantage.  Maintaining that painfully slow pace, she caused a spike of pleasure every time her finger passed over Weiss’ clit only for the pleasure to fade when she moved away.

“Ruby,” Weiss tried again, this time with a hitch of her hips that was supposed to encourage Ruby to abandon this strategy.  Anything was better than this.  Getting fucked into submission or eaten out time and time again - those were the quick releases Weiss needed.  Because when Ruby did this...she threatened to take away whatever composure Weiss had left.

“You’re in a hurry,” Ruby whispered, her finger sending another satisfying yet frustrating flurry of lust through Weiss’ veins.

“Of course I am,” Weiss breathed out before her eyes fluttered at yet another touch.  “It’s been two weeks.”

“Has not.”

When Ruby tugged Weiss’ shirt off of her shoulder and started kissing the exposed skin there, she leaned her head back and stifled a moan.

Ruby was right, in a way.  It had been two weeks since they were last together, but not a day passed without Weiss crying out Ruby’s name, in Ruby’s bed, while imagining this moment.  In those daydreams though, Ruby took her roughly, swiftly, and repeatedly, with her smooth voice on the phone explaining exactly how it would happen.

That was the exact opposite of what was happening now, where the unhurried pace threatened to keep that release forever out of reach.

“Relax,” Ruby whispered between kisses that left a warm, tingling trail wherever her lips went.

The last thing Weiss wanted to do was relax and accept this crawling pace, but she wasn’t in the position to argue.  So she tried to do as instructed - breathing out a sigh before focusing on what little pleasure Ruby was giving her.  The kisses on her neck and shoulder.  The hand grasping and kneading at her breasts - first one side, then the other.  The smooth, unhurried finger stroking her clit with an unflinching rhythm that sent desire burning through her.  She wanted more of that - so much so that her hips slowly matched Ruby’s pace, following that finger as long as possible before sighing when the contact disappeared.

Just when she’d accepted that she’d never get off this way, something changed.  The rhythm was the same, but every time Ruby touched her clit, fire ran through her veins.  That fire grew exponentially hotter with each touch, and soon the pleasure was building rather than receding with each pass.

“Oh god,” she breathed out as taller and taller waves of bliss crashed over her.  She had no idea how Ruby was doing this, but her hands were good - so fucking good - that all Weiss wanted was more.  Not even faster, just more.  If she could sit here for hours soaking in Ruby’s attention, she would.  But the speed that once seemed to be taking her nowhere was suddenly sending her careening towards a climax.

“Fuck...” she moaned, closing her eyes and dropping her head back on Ruby’s shoulder.  Ruby continued to kiss and bite along her neck and collar, adding to the tension building between her legs that begged to break free.  Her hips moved faster now, seeking out that touch on their own volition.  This time, Ruby let it happen - let Weiss create the friction she so greatly desired.

“I’ve got you, I’ve got you,” Ruby whispered over and over while Weiss ground against her fingers, desperate to reach that release.

Her heart was racing, her breathing heavy and fast, and the pleasure mounting between her legs only grew.  The next second, she reached that peak and shot past it with a burst of pure ecstasy.  A moan slipped through her lips as her back arched away from Ruby, who held her close and fingered her until she couldn’t take anymore.

The moment she came down from that high, slumping into Ruby in the process, Ruby removed her hand and wrapped both of her arms around Weiss’ waist.

“That was good,” she whispered with another kiss before nuzzling against Weiss’ neck.  “I missed you.”

“Yeah,” Weiss said, still breathless and in desperate need of a moment to collect herself.  She didn’t come right out and say that she’d missed Ruby too, but she didn’t deny it again either.

Maybe it wasn’t so bad to be Ruby’s, in this way.  She’d sworn never to get herself into this type of situation, but now that she had...it wasn’t so bad.  Not when she trusted Ruby so implicitly with her mind, body, and...heart.  They might joke, tease, or bicker more often than not, but she knew she could count on Ruby at the end of the day - whether it was giving her a fantastic orgasm or just...being there for her.  Wasn’t that all anyone was looking for?

When she heard a soft sigh and felt Ruby’s arms relax, however, she pushed those thoughts aside and spun around in Ruby’s lap.

“You aren’t tired, are you?” she asked, only to find sleepy silver eyes looking back at her.  “Because you’re not sleeping yet.”

“It’s been a long day,” Ruby whined, but Weiss just clicked her tongue and gently pushed Ruby down on the sofa.  Straddling Ruby’s hips, Weiss looked at the girl pinned to the sofa beneath her and smiled.

“Good thing you only have to lay back and...relax,” she said while running her fingers through Ruby’s short brunette hair.  It fell right back into place like it always did, and that somehow made her even happier to be here right now.

“You wore a skirt for a reason, didn’t you?” she asked, but Ruby tried an innocent shrug in response.

“I like skirts.”

“So do I,” Weiss replied before glancing at Ruby’s skirt, which would serve them well in what little time it would remain on Ruby’s hips.  “And I like you,” she added, but only caught a glimpse of the surprise in Ruby’s eyes before sliding further down on the sofa.

As good as it was to go at each other like they might never have this moment again, what Weiss wanted to do now was lavish Ruby with the attention she’d just experienced.  Slowly - almost painfully so.  Unhurried.  Unrushed.  Adoringly.  Lovingly.

She loved this girl, who could make her grit her teeth one second before curling her toes the next.  Maybe that’s why she refused to admit that they were only girlfriends.  Because to her...Ruby was so much more than that.

Tonight, she was going to make sure Ruby felt that.  Tomorrow...maybe she’d repeat herself with words instead of actions.  Or maybe she’d use actions again.  Eventually, Ruby would catch on...and Weiss would have a hell of a good time in the process.
