I don't have any problems with the heights in movies. I do feel the suspense when there is a shot where it seems like someone will fall. The only time I have any issue with heights is when it is actually me, without something secure if I am in a tall building I can look straight down with NO problem. but if I am on a ladder that is where I have issues. I am glad I missed this at the theater it would have been too stressful on a big screen when someone looked like they might fall. This is one of those like Twister or armageddon where you leave the theater rubber-legged from the suspense. Overall it is a good movie but it would need a happier ending for me to watch it again

also, 2000 feet is a long way before the air gets too thin to breathe. remember Denver is a 1 mile above sea level, the air is thin enough that you will notice until you get used to it, that is why people who climb tall mountains have to climatize as they go up, it is 8000 meters or about 26000 feet that is where you enter what is called the Death Zone, the air is 1/3 what it is in say Miami. your body literally starts to die and you have to carry oxygen tanks with you, there are I think 14 peaks above 8000m with Everest being the most well-known.
