So, since we had a few days of voting left, let's do something different until the new poll on Monday.   J has some ideas and has been working on a few lists, so we are gonna let you guys on patreon (because you're awesome and we love you guys) pick which one he does first.   One of these I'll have to clarify since the option box is limited:

*ALL OF THESE LISTS ARE LIMITED TO ONLY MOVIES HE HAS WATCHED AND IS ON THE YOUTUBE CHANNEL.

*The "people he loves because of the channel" is anyone he either knew little or nothing about as far as their filmmaking career and work, and who he now has a strong connection where a year ago, he didn't even really know them.

What do you guys think?   Drop any other suggestions for fun lists in the comments, and let us know which of these you want first.  No time table, but whatever wins will be the next fun thing like this we do.

I would love to see a list of "The Disrespect!" Characters who either got disrespected the most, and/or handed out the most disrespect. So basically the top 20 disrespected and/or the top 20 disrespectors. Maybe two lists?

I thought about other types of movie lists he could start as well: Hidden Gems - movies not necessarily big productions, big money makers or have famous actors but are good movies. International Movies (he would have to decide to watch dubbed or subbed) Classic Movies - pre 1960 Rom-Coms Just ideas to help his channel grow 🙂 And more sci-fi 👍

You can get rid of lost opportunity now. I'm here as my true name

Never forget I'm still lost opportunity though. I found you there and I never left. Just switched names

Or just kill off that account since I can't use both of our income anymore

only youtube BOO. you need something for the patron picks too.

EOMedia

We may, but we try to keep the videos destined for YT to not contain too much people on there haven’t seen J watch.

Chris Baldwin

The only category that makes sense is the top 15 actor's and film maker's J discovered on the channel. Everyone should be interested in that. All the other categories are thing's we have all already seen and enjoyed together in the moment.

EOMedia

We actually just came up with that one after one of his recent watches. Def going to do it soon regardless of what wins this and gets priority.

Chris Baldwin

Great! I'm really interested in who has stood out to him over the past year plus. Watching drama's; science fiction; action; comedy; western and war film's. He should throw in a couple he wasn't impressed by too. Keep it balanced. No one likes every single film they watch. My guess for the number one actor that impressed J most, it would HAVE to be Burgess Meredith. Old "Mick"...

EOMedia

Adding some movies he wasn't' impressed by is a good idea. May as well get that side of it as well. LoL And I'd be shocked if you weren't onto something with Burgess.

I don't wanna be a cloud on a sunny day, but...<p><i>All</i> these seem fun...and kinda the same thing. </p><p>Be hyper-specific in the future, maybe? Petty vs Ain't Sh*t...well, yeah, uh...</p><p>A fool's opinion: poll about *really* specific jazz: Chris Walken vs himself. Arnie's best one-liners? Who shoulda married from a John Hugh's script? Who swings an axe/sword best in LOTR vs GOT? When should Kurt Russell be punched in the face? Who is that meow-Indian lady in the Golden Child? What if someone says, "plate of shrimp?"</p><p>Too specific? Yeah. I went <i><b>TOO</b></i>, din I? 🤗</p>

These are all great suggestions. One list/compilation I would really like to see is J discussing the 15 biggest surprises since the channel began: which movies did not unfold AT ALL like he thought they would, which characters were much different than what he'd expected, and which actors/actresses delivered performances that he didn't think they were capable of. Since the channel is predicated on J experiencing movies for the first time, I'd love to hear what movies/characters/actors really pulled the rug out from under him. To me, that's the fun of movies: if everything turns out the way you think it's going to, it's not much of an experience. :)

Hey, JL, I know you do mostly movie stuff. I must preface what I'm about to say with this. When I get home from work, I put this channel on no matter what you got going on. It always brings me joy. But as far as TV shows, what about TED LASSO? That looks like that would totally be your jam. The seasons aren't long. Out.

I picked the one I thought would be the most interesting, oh well
