First Time Watching Creed for JL. Patreon Exclusive.

*The asterisk is because technically, J has seen Creed. He explains in his intro that he saw this at the theater on a date, but had zero context of the franchise and doesn't remember much other than Michael B Jordan is a boxer.

Always try to stay transparent, but if anyone watches this and thinks it should not be labeled as a first time, drop a comment and we'll discuss changing it. I just feel like this qualifies, unlike the upcoming John Wick and Scream stuff.

I’m betting he sees it in a totally different way now that he knows the background. I’m here for it. 👏👏👏

Well I just heard...the news today...with arms wide open!
wait...oh...oh...I'm completely wrong, aren't I?

Roller coaster of emotions. Beautiful reaction. Glad you're actually finishing up the series. As I've said before I personally wont support part 3 coming out due to how the studio has mistreated Stallone. But Creed 1 was definitely a very good film. Had me tearing up many times today watching this reaction. Rocky is my fave movie character of all time and I do hope he gets rights to his brainchild back before he dies so he can do what he wants with his own character and leave to his children.

Part of hopes he does. Part of me hopes they don’t touch it. I love seeing Rock, but that ending he got in the next movie may not be able to be topped. It’s a perfect bow on a 50 year present. But I’m not mad if I see him again. LoL

I always ask him what he knows if he thinks he saw a movie before. Everything he talked about remembering in this was basically just basic stuff the trailer told you. Michael B Jordan boxes and it’s part of the Rocky series. That was about it. And with no context, I was okay labeling it a first time watch. It really is.

I hear you. I guess I just can never get enough of ol Rocky. He has a script for a new Rocky film where he helps an immigrant kid in boxing, but also a storyline where Rock tries to save the old neighborhood. I guess I'd kind of rather his goodbye be in his own "Rocky" film. If he never does it I'll always have several films to enjoy. If he gets to do it though, I'll have one more to add the excellent series. Oh yea and his other idea is a TV series of Rocky, Adrian, Mick, Paulie all when they were younger. Prequel series. I'd love to see that! Unfortunately that's one of the things he's fighting for bc the studio won't let him.

It has to be, right? Everything hits different when you know where this kid came from.
