Or at least, I will give a Patreon exclusive Q&A another go for Christmas. Start submitting some questions in the DMs. By submitting early, it gives me enough time to Google information I can use to make myself appear more knowledgeable. I will select 10 or 15 and put the ep up the week of Christmas.

Nixon episode coming together nicely.

This is more a suggestion than a question really so i'll just drop it here...seems to me there is more than enough coverage of the US side of para-deep-whatever politics...no shortage of cia ghost stories out there...and for good reason of course...but there is comparatively little attention given to the ins and outs of MI5/MI6, not to mention the long pre-history of British (proto)intelligence ops. Just wondering/hoping if there's any plans to go deeper on the nonce island side of things at some point?

Would be interesting to hear some of how Crowley fits in that larger intelligence picture too

We are wrapping up our time in America next year, there's a post on here detailing where we're going next. But we are bringing it all back home, as they say.

Please ... no more Crowley ... anywhere ...

I have a question about the soundbeds you gravitate toward: Donovan and California Surf and such. Is there genuine affection for the sound, or does it just in your estimation capture the Yoyodyne vibe of 1960s Cali? Also it's mirthful since you're pissing distance from Hadrian's Wall.

As mentioned above more European stories especially the French intelligence services and their dirty colonial praxis. I'm thinking T. Sankara, P. Lumumba and so on. I'm working with a lot of fresh out of uni French people atm here on a mountain in Spain and they are ripe for having their minds blown. Could definitely be intriguing with an episode on Franco and why he was such a popular fascist in the west? Any thoughts on going further back in time? Alot of Napoleon era banking mischiefs still vibrate today and I'm not talking Rotschildd in the general antisemitic mythological way, just the birth of the international bourgeoisie and the economic gamble that is European warfare...

Are you talking about the Mississippi Bubble involving the Scotsman John Law, a contemporary of Adam Smith I believe, that both initiated modern finance in France (in a sense anyways) and also nearly tore the country's economy apart? If so that would be a great story when taken with the South Seas Bubble in the UK and other similar financial events concurrently. Capitalism's gonna keep doin crisis because something something Schumpeter's Gale yadda yadda enterprise freedom riches yay!

@Lukas Lion. Don't know much about those bubbles but sounds intriguing and surly part of that matrix of events which could bring the history of capitalism out of its origin mythology of naturally endowed entrepreneurs. I was aiming at stories like the Krupp dynasty that J Falun Gong covered extensively and more broadly international arms deals around that early time which, as he points out, people seem to believe to be a modern phenomenon.
