NOTE FOR CLARITY: Although the Hills' experience occurred in 1961, it was under hypnosis in 1964 when they described the humanoid figures as being what we today call "Greys". Debunkers insist that this means it could have been either a 1964 Outer Limits episode "The Bellaro Shield" that influenced Betty and Barney's description, or a 1962 episode of The Twilight Zone called "Hocus Pocus and Frisby".

More significantly for our suspicions in the show, Barney had described the craft's occupants as "stocky men with *short cropped hair*" in his earlier accounts.
