New Year (Patreon)

Hope you all had a good holiday and have evaded capture. Our period of radio silence is almost over but before we come back with part 2 of Amerikan Tabloid, I figure I might as well give you some updates on my thinking w/r/t the show, the tiers, this patreon, and whatnot.

I have really tried to make it work, but as things stand I just can't fit all the research for the main show, the newsletter and two paywalled current affairs/Q&A shows around work/personal life right now. I definitely need a staff, but I'm not planning to start recruiting an army of Project Mayhem-style space monkeys until at least 2022. So I'm going to try and simplify things as much as possible in the interests of giving you, my hittas, the fairest shake possible. 

Going forward, there will be the main GSFTEOTW show, free and available to all, which will release every 1 - 2 weeks, and there will be 1 paywalled Q&A/current affairs show (Truth Bunker Power Hour) each month. So the "new look" Truth Bunker Power Hour will basically be the newsletter, but in audio form. My hope is there will be 2 - 3 main episodes and 1 paywalled episode each month.

I'm going to change the wording of the tiers to reflect this, so I thought it was only fair to give you a heads up in case you joined for the newsletter or the (no longer) twice monthly TBPH. Apologies if this is a disappointment, but I'm still getting to grips with being a "content creator" and my hope is by streamlining things like this, it will leave me spread less thinly and give me more room to boost the quality of the main show and the Q&A.

So the TL;DR is that for 2021, there will be no newsletter, and only 1 monthly Q&A, but the upshot is I have more time to research and produce the main show, and more time to sift the news feed and dig out the really interesting tidbits for my spooks and killas. 

We will be returning on Friday 29th January with Amerikan Tabloid pt 2 and the .mp3s of in-house bumper music made for the show so far. Part 3 is also in the can and needs some editing and shaping, but it looks like these narrative threads are going to converge on a certain plaza in Dallas in 1963. I hope you can join us in the book depository when the time is right.
