December Announcement (Patreon)

This is the admin post for December 2023. November didn’t need an announcement since the previous admin post was at the end of October, but going forward I’ll aim for an admin post each month to keep everyone updated.

Last month I fell a bit short of my goal of 4 chapters a month, but I’m happy that I’ve started posting again! Right now, original works are a sticking point for me, so I might end up writing more fanfiction instead. For now, I remain focused on posting 2 original work chapters and 2 fanfiction chapters for this month.

Other December Goals:

1) Continue grouping my stories into collections and back posting any missing chapters.
I want to improve user experience and make it easier to navigate the many stories I have. As I post new chapters, I’ll group the full story into collections and post any missing chapters to make it easier to quickly read entire stories. I also plan to update my pinned post to highlight collections.

2) Finish out the last of my commissions.
I have about 10k words left in my active commission queue that I want to wrap up, hopefully by or around New Years. After that, a lot of fans submitted forms to be on the waitlist, so I’ll be going through that to see who is still interested!

My first two “rounds” of commissions have been immensely popular, but I definitely could have set up my commission pipeline better! I plan to make changes based on my past mistakes to streamline the process and make sure there’s less time between when you commission a chapter and when I write the chapter.
