Patreon Announcement

Hello, Everyone! This post is an update on the current state of my Patreon.

Story Updates

I know that updates have been sporadic recently. Thank you all for being patient with my work rate, and the kind words I’ve received from Patrons have done a lot to keep me focused. The reason for the current speed of updates is that I will be moving in the near future, and getting ready for the move has taken up much of my personal bandwidth.

If all goes well, I’ll be finished moving in after next week and then things should settle.

Devil’s Foundry

In the meantime, I will be focusing on Devil’s Foundry. My goal is to get to two updates a week on that story to expand the amount of patreon chapters. I am aiming to finish book two by the end of this year for the Audiobook and eBook release, so wish me luck!

Other Updates

I will still be working on other stories, but they will take a backseat to my original story. I have the first chapter of the story voted on last month that I will post soon, but I decided to delay that for obvious reasons (the story is named “God Save the Queen”after all).

Patreon Changes

1) This will not affect any current patrons, but I have updated my Patreon to subscription style billing. This means that new patrons will be charged when they joined each month, instead of being charged on the 1st. Existing patrons will continue to be charged on the 1st as you have been. Again, if you joined before this change, you will not be affected.

2) As a published author (Yay me!), I am told by my publisher that I need a more public presence, to shill promote my stories! I’ve decided that the easiest thing to do will be to lean on discord, since I’m already using it.

What does this mean? Expect an upcoming patreon poll on whether you would like this new ‘open’ discord to be a separate server, or for it to be folded into the current private patreon discord (Discord Patrons would receive special badges, and still have private rooms like the current set up). This will also involve me expanding the private discord with more commands, emotes, and other that I haven’t done yet, since the current discord community is small.

Closing Remarks

As you can see, I have a lot going on right now. I thank you for everyone’s continued support and enjoyment of my writing, and I look forward to many more years of telling these stories of mine for all who wish to hear!
