Hello everyone, I hope you enjoyed Chemist's second novel. The ending is kinda strange because the point of the novel is to create overwhelming firepower. Without a necromancer army that isn't affected by chemical weapons or *mystery powers here* any attempt to create an enemy that was as strong as modern technology would just be... forced. So, to give a more conventional, satisfying ending, I wrote the highly tense Sundell plotline. If you read the last few chapters all at once, the book has a climax and then dramatically showcases Ryker's profound power with an intentionally unclimatic ending. As expected. It might not be the most popular ending, but it's true to the story.

Now, an announcement. If you are new or haven't caught up, I've been in a publishing dispute regarding my last contract. As a result, I'm in a situation where I can't publish Chemist, which is why I originally stopped posting it on Royal Road. As such, I cannot become a professional writer by writing it, which is extremely sad.

Despite that, I wrote the entire second book, all 600~700 pages worth, just for you guys. You've paid good money and stuck with me, so I trudged on despite working full-time and writing commercial projects, ensuring that I at least put out one chapter a week (14 hours of work per week). It's not much, but I tried to do you right by it. Thank you so much for sticking with me—I stuck with you.

With the second novel done, I'm going on a hiatus pending a development in my contract dispute. I have a dream of being a professional author, and I currently cannot do that with this novel (be careful what you sign), so I'm publishing another one. I hope that you will read it.

As a thank you, I'm giving everyone the chance to binge 80% of my new novel (40+ 3k chapters). No charge. No Patreon necessary. Most aren’t edited, but you will be able to read the edited chapters as they come out. I would love you all to read the novel, and you deserve to read it for free.

I'm publishing on Friday and will post a link. I'll give anyone who likes it another link to binge-read the rough draft. Just send me a message.

Feel free to cancel your Patreon now and send me a message. I'll make sure to send you an email with the link and information. At this point, it's not about money: you people are my family. I'll make sure to do right by you.

Now, a stranger announcement.

My earliest readers will remember that I was a victim of brutal bullying on Royal Road when Chemist first came out. It was wildly successful off the bat, so people started accusing me of cheating (as if you can cheat the algorithm), accusing me of paying $1,000 in ads (lies), and then flooded my novel with 0.5-star reviews and doxxed my information onto the internet. It was pretty brutal. Therefore, I'm changing my username and Patreon. If you want to continue supporting me, you'll do it there.

That said, I'm letting you read my novel for free, and you all have free beta-read privileges for my novels. Once again, it's not about the money. It's about the love.

Thank you all for your patronage and for helping me get one step closer to my dream as a professional writer. I hope my contract releases Chemist and allows me to publish so I can continue. Either way, I hope you'll continue to love my stories and keep in contact. I'll give you all my new discord and email so you can reach out at a

I love you all. Trax

It’s been a pleasure and an honor reaching such a well written work of art. Thank you for continuing to write the story even if it made you no money. I will continue to support. I like everything you’ve written thus far. Sorry people were trolls. Although I must ask why switch patreons? Even if you start a new work do you still have to completely switch patreons?

There's a massive group that doxxed my info. It has like 1.2k members. Even one leak that I am [unveiled soon], and they'll just post it. In comes the brigading. 😒
