Despite the fact that Jordan did not get the body he wanted, nevertheless he was pleased. The ritual worked and he was no longer in a prison cell waiting for his long term to end. He was free and that was the most important thing.

The odd weight on his chest and long hair didn't frighten him in the least when he opened his eyes after performing the ritual. He was in the apartment, not behind bars. It was the air of freedom. And yes, he was ready for almost anything. He might have been an old man or a baby, but he was an adult. Yes, he got the body of some unknown woman, but it was not the worst option.

Damn it! Jordan only now realized that out of all the huge number of people, he received the body of Gregory's wife! It was bad, very bad.

First, Gregory was an asshole and Jordan's worst enemy. Secondly, Gregory was already a fat and strong man who, when Jordan was still himself, was stronger than him, and now even more so. And thirdly, he knew stories about his wife and that she was practically a slave to him.

Yes, he ended up in Margot's body. And now it was obvious. It was hard to say which was better, but it was at this moment that Jordan thought that it would be better if he stayed in prison.

Margo worked as a waitress and stripper in the evenings, but she also lived with Gregory as his wife. Jordan hoped he could escape Margo's fate and find a way to lead some other life in her body. But... ...but those were just his foolish hopes.
