(Usually I'd share WIPs with just the upper tier but for this, everyone's contribution counts, no matter how big or small. When this is done, everyone who contributed to completion gets a spot in the credits.)

This is what I've been working on and off for the past few months. There is a locally produced animated series called Rimba Racer by Glue Studios. I felt like doing a take on it, mashing in the aesthetics of Redline.

It's also a practice run for bigger things to come.

My animated short will be around 40 seconds long. The progress so far:

Animatic: 90% timed, stuck on the ending. Nothing worth previewing yet.

Designs:

Tag - Done

Ripper II - needs a bit more work, no interior design

Villians - concepted, not refined

Sound: No SFX, can't find engine noise packs suitable for my needs.

Overall goal - a cleaned-up linetest. Full color is a lot to handle alone, at least 10 backgrounds and 300 individual unique frames.

By when? Before the year is over, that's my best guess. Gonna need this for future job interviews.

(Old school animation takes a lot of work. I could focus on this and finish it in about a month but all other art time gets sacrificed and I need to find commissions to stay afloat. No luxury to focus purely on this.)
