idea jam: shunga (Patreon)

This is a carry-over from last year. I read up on the japanese erotic artwork called shunga and wanted to dabble in it, things got in the way and it had lapsed to summer.

I don't want to wait another year to be seasonally relevant, if I understood correctly summer 2018 starts mid June so I have a small but doable window.

My initial idea was my D-dog OC with Miss Cord, because of Cord's natural flexibility to emulate the whacky anatomical twists in shunga.

But I open her slot to you for other suggestions. MLPverse and pantheon is pretty large, I'll even open it to the Mane 6.

If not keen on suggesting character to pair with the mutt, going with the initial dracoXdoggo angle, then perhaps scenarios. My first idea was a rainstorm and under an umbrella that casts sunlight and an accompanying haiku that I didn't write down. Cord's got the magic thing to utilise for something more whimsical.

Most shunga looks like they're having an opportunistic quicky, be it at a festival, on a boat, in a garden.

And finally, if you have your own pairing and scenario in mind, sure, let's hear it. Could be better than what I've got, could even be solo, I guess shunga can be more style than substance.

I've got 10 days to reach my art quota and 6 pieces more to do, this will help knock down 1 or 2.
