(crossposted from FA to all dear supporters, you should be made aware if what's going on and gonna happen in the next 2 months)

It's been a trying week.

Just got back from the hospital. Dad's fine, if a bit weak. Surgery was delayed to Tuesday, they took him off the ventilator yesterday and are now in the process of unhooking him from the machines, one tube at a time. Prognosis looks promising, he's got some color back to his skin, indicating probably circulation problems leading up to the stuffy artery.

It has been difficult for me to switch from nocturnal to diurnal in such a short amount of time, I've been flogging coffee like a viagra'd dog in a forest of flanneled legs. There's a purpose to this madness. For the next 2 months I'm doing everything my dad used to do.

This saturday onwards for the immediate week, I'm gonna be dropping off mum to work, camping in the hospital all day to accompany my dad, then pick mum up from work, go home, sleep, repeat. I'll be living off hospital food and since it's a shared room with 3 other patients, there's no table setup to setup a drawing station. At best I can color digitally.

When dad's well enough to come home, pretty much the same except now I may have to cook as well. Lighter fare than I usually do, low salt, low fat, for my dad. He'll be off his morphine drip so I'll have to help move him around. I cracked a leg and it hurt like a mofo for 3 weeks, I imagine it'd hurt longer for an open heart surgery wound.

And finally, cleaning, laundry, groceries. Until December.

I should be able to meet art quota and maaaaybe take tiny commissions here and there. All side projects like Zodihavoc's first comic will be delayed in favor of earning.

Looks like the $10,000 probably won't be enough. We're going into debt again.

It's gonna be a rough 2 months but I'm glad to hear your dad is ok.
