Hello again, hello again and hello again!

Welcome to my little corner of Youtube, I guess you can call me Xel!

Here, I analyze story arcs, characters, and worldbuilding from meta-textual, thematic, and narrative driven angles. My most common subject is RWBY under the "RWBY is" series of videos, but other topics are also covered depending on my mood.

"DC Deep Dives", my second series, covers the fanon, fandom and lore regarding DC and other media with long running histories and adaptions, to see their evolution, reinterpretation, and misunderstandings over the years.

If you're more interested in the contrarian, controversial, or just off the beaten path, my "Hot Takes" series covers a range of bite-sized subjects, or if you want more thorough coverage, my "Series in Review" is where I recommend (or not) a series, and covers the aspects and themes I find most fascinating.

But sometimes I want to do something more hypothetical or theoretical, and "What If" Storylines is where to find them. Here, I consider various concepts in a series of my choosing, from simple differences in character choices and decisions, to complete story and theme shifts due to new central characters.

Regardless of what subject I cover, I try to stay positive and constructive when it comes to media analysis. I am not here to tear down media for the sake of views, and I love hearing from viewers about their own insights.

If any of that sounds to your liking feel free to pick a video or playlist and start watching and if you would like to support my work, you can find links to my Patreon down below. This will give you early access to scripts, unseen reviews, videos and 3D art. You can also hit up my Ko-Fi if you feel like commissioning me.

Now that the introduction is out of the way, all I have left to say is thanks for stopping by!
