Mes appareils - My Cameras : Samsung D500 (2004) (Patreon)

Alors là c'est interessant, parce qu'avec le Samsung D500, on fait carrément un bon en arrière technologique comparé au Kodak D240 dont je vous parlais le mois dernier. Et pour cause, on est là sur le premier appareil photo intégré à un téléphone que j'ai réellement utilisé au quotidien, entre fin 2004 et début 2006.

J'avais déjà eu un capteur sur un téléphone i-Mode lambda que j'avais eu chez Bouygues quelques années auparavant, mais la qualité était abominable, alors qu'avec ce petit D500, c'était assez propre.

Que vous dire ? C'est avec le Samsung D500 que j'ai contracté mon premier crédit à la consommation ! Je ne sais plus le montant, mais le D500 était vraiment le top du top à l'époque, avec son clavier coulissant et son look de galet futuriste.

Technologiquement parlant, il était équipé d'un capteur de 1,3 MPixels, donc autant que le Kodak D240 que j'utilisais précédemment, mais la qualité n'était quand même pas au rendez-vous, l'optique n'étant vraiment pas comparable. Il avait aussi un écran de 1,9 pouces et une mémoire interne de 96 Mo, la folie.

Je l'ai quand même pas mal utilisé, et je faisais régulièrement des photos avec, mais rien de bien incroyable... C'est avec mon téléphone suivant que ça a bien changé ! À suivre du coup :)

So it's interesting, because with the Samsung D500, we really make a technological leap backwards compared to the Kodak D240 I was talking about last month. And for good reason, this is the first camera integrated to a phone that I really used in my daily life, between end of 2004 and beginning of 2006.

I had already had a sensor on an i-Mode phone I had with Bouygues a few years before, but the quality was abominable, whereas with this little D500, it was quite clean.

What can I tell you? It's with the Samsung D500 that I took out my first consumer credit! I don't remember the amount, but the D500 was really the top of the line at the time, with its sliding keyboard and its futuristic pebble look.

Technologically speaking, it was equipped with a 1.3 MPixels sensor, so as much as the Kodak D240 I was using before, but the quality was still not there, the optics were really not comparable. It also had a 1.9 inch screen and an internal memory of 96 MB, which is crazy.

I still used it quite a bit, and I regularly took pictures with it, but nothing really amazing... It's with my next phone that it changed a lot ! To be continued :)
