Zombie - Mushroom - Giant


I wasn't provided any reference concept art (I promise I'm not holding out on you!) for this one, but the description was essentially, "big bloated zombie giant with mushrooms" so I tried to have some fun with it.

Here were my initial sketches. I did sketches for male and female options I ultimately went for the female version because her hair (I whip my hair back and forth I whip my hair back and forth...) and twisted foot gave her pose a neat sense of motion. 

I had explored having the mushrooms overriding her face to play up the mushrooms as the threat, but they didn't read as well as I'd have liked and her face was just too fun with the glowing eyes to cover up so nixed the idea.
