Goal Reward Release - Pharblex Spattergoo (Patreon)

Patrons who joined post-pandemic might not be aware of this but I used to do these Goal Rewards where I'd work on specific minis (often larger things over several months) and release them for free when we hit specific pledge milestones.

I saw it as a fun way that the Printable Heroes community could contribute to the larger TTRPG community by making free resources available for things that might otherwise cost you an arm-and-a-leg for traditional miniature versions (Dragon Turtles, Demogorgon, Krakens, etc). Not all of them were 'big bads' and sometimes it was just a fun excuse to work on goofy things like Gazers, Intellect Devourers, Abyssal Chickens.

To ease myself back into doing Goal Rewards I figured I'd start out with something more in the fun category; Pharblex Spattergoo.

Pharblex Spattergoo is a colorful villain from WotC's Tyranny of Dragons campaign. Artist Bryan Syme did such a wonderful job designing the official character art for Pharblex in that adventure (including what has to be one of the most avant garde hats worn by an NPC ever) that Pharblex quickly became a favorite NPC of mine and an excellent excuse for DMs to try out one of the goofy voices they've been practicing in the shower.

Yesterday we hit the milestone for Pharblex (yay!) so he's now available for everyone to download for free here,

After Pharblex, the next Goal Reward will be the King of Feathers from the Tomb of Annihilation adventure,

and following that I've got a miniature for Bavlorna (and her lornlings) from Wild Beyond the Witchlight in the works,

I'm always open to suggestions for future Goal Reward miniatures and I'm excited to finally be bringing back this tradition.
