The files for this massive Lazarus Engine paper miniature are now available to download here,

The Lazarus Engine

Another miniature created as part of my collaboration with the wonderful folks at TPK Brewing Co. (You can read more about my collaboration with them here.)

Designed to be the final boss of the 3rd Chapter of the campaign the Lazarus Engine is the biggest miniature I've ever made. While the 68lb photo paper I use is sturdy enough to work with slotted base by itself, I found that when doing the fold and glue to the bases technique I wanted to have some additional support so I included additional chunks of the feet (front and back) that can be printed, cut, and glued on to give some additional stability.

First time attempted to include supports for a miniature like this so please feel free to ping me with feedback and/or thoughts.

Annnnd because it's always fun to do little behind-the-scenes on these here's the initial sketches and direction I was supplied with,

Lazarus is (was?) a gnome and it became apparent pretty quickly that for the scale they were looking for the construct would have to become more of a mech then a suit.

Couldn't pass up having a variant with the helmet open so we could see the angry little pilot inside.

Final versions with the helmet open.
