Synopsis
No delays announced this month.
I've gotten quite a bit checked off the list, the biggest thing being a huge push to get the voiceacting wrapped up in July. I originally scheduled it for October, and was able to knock those out earlier than expected.
Still waiting on two inner circle story arcs to be done, and that will hopefully be ready by sometime in alpha.
I've been in testing for about a month. Overall, it's going well, if slowly. I'm not finding many game crashing bugs, the kind I found frequently when testing The Cyriaan Chronicles #10. However, there are thousands, if not hundreds of thousands lines of code, so things frequently don't work the way I expect. Many of those from a main story point of view are getting fixed as I find them.
Since the game is more open ended than CC#10, the challenge will be trying get enough of a spotlight all potential actions to ensure they're bug free. I think that's where the beta testing will really shine.
I'm still optomistic for an October alpha stage launch, and December beta stage launch. That's the current plan, but it could easily get delayed if bugs are rampant.
