Content

I have a lot of irons in the fire, and thought it would be good to keep you all updated on what's happening in my (tickling) world.  I have been really busy these last two months with CC#10's release and hyping up our sites.

Video games

Tickle Magnet #11 is still in early stages of production.  I am partnering with Featherscape and Sinister Lurker to craft the main storyline and arcing side stories.  It is fairly intense and fairly involved, a bit more than The Cyriaan Chronicles #10 was.  This was intentional, as I want this game to feel slightly more like a visual novel that you can move around in than CC#10's vision.

The main storyline is about 10% drafted, and one of the five close characters' story arc is likewise drafted.  Featherscape and Sinister Lurker are working on the other four close character arcs right now.

After the main storyline is done and the close characters, we will start building out optional content for the game.  Things you can unlock through choices, actions, and fun activities you can explore.

There will be pretty big vision differences between TM#11 and CC#10.  CC#10 was always meant to play like an old school SNES era JRPG.  TM#11 is not going to play like that.  It will not have random battles, but instead optional battles players can elect into to unlock more content.  The game's unfolding story and tickling action will be slower paced, much like CC#10 was.  I like slow build ups and getting to know characters, as opposed to just throwing random tickling content in a player's face every 30 seconds.

In terms of roadmaps, I am hoping to complete a bulk of the writing by end of April.  Then I can start coding the game and gathering content May/June, then head into alpha mid/late summer.  Still hoping for a end of year 2023 release date, but it depends on how things go.

Tickling videos

Although I may be past the part in my life where I can pick up and do a tickling shoot on a random Saturday, I will nevertheless be pairing with content providers to bring you all new tickling content.

We parterned with Tickle Kitty a month ago and you will see those videos enter and leave our streaming library.

We also partnership with a model named Princess whose content we will start airing in February.  Princess is making videos specifically for us, so after I upload her first tickling video, I will likely poll you all to see "well, what do you want to see next?"

There is also footage I keep finding in our vault that was never aired for whatever reason.  So I'll be making judgment calls whether to edit it and release.  I will, for sure, release the footage I already promised, it's just a matter of whether to keep on the other stuff, as well.

Comic books

Things will keep going, but slowly.  Comics are expensive and I'm careful not to overspend our financial support on them.  I would expect to see a new release every 2-3 months amongst our various comic lines.  In accordance with our published Patreon goals, more subscribers means a more regular release schedule.  So spread the word!

We've already released Yelena and The Agencies.  Unfortunately, the Yelena artist is retiring from full comic book work, so she will complete the next issue, then move on.  It happens.  A lot, actually.  I have another artist in mind to take her place when the time comes.

The Ruthless is in lettering stages right now, but production took much longer than it needed to, so I need to talk to the artist.

The Cyriaan Chronicles is about 70% wrapped up and will continue the story the video game started.  I'm excited to share that one with everyone, as it has the same artist as the game.

Tickle Magnet will likely not see another release until the game launches late this year.

Animation

I'm going to keep taking my shots at this, and seeing what happens.  So far, the experiments have been duds.  The results are not pieces I would be proud to publish.  I have a pretty high bar for quality, and I'm additionally fairly stubborn about that bar.

Neverthless, I am testing a 2D studio right now and a 3D art studio.  They're on the more expensive end, but I want to see what they can do.  I will share media if I feel it may lead to something interesting.

I have an announcement that I'll make here at the end of this status update, knowing that few people will actually read it :)  I will share my first experiments with an animated, fully voice acted version of The Agencies #26 either in February or March.  It will be exclusive to this Patreon.  I'm choosing between two different animation providers, and have amped up my professional network of voice actresses.  For the first time, Agent Succubus will have a voice!  I don't want to overpromise anything because I don't have a finished product in front of me.  But I think it will be a lot of fun, and an attention grabbing product, as I don't think anything like this has been attempted in the history of the tickling community.  If this goes well, I would love to release a "theatrical version" of future comics alongside their PDF counterparts.  But we will see.  Entirely depends on the amount of interest it generates.

Website

I just signed a deal to build a website with a developer.  I don't know what will be on there besides linkes to our various online presece, but it's a start!

It's a constant flywheel of innovation and production, and I'm hoping it means I'll have cool stuff to share with you all this year!
