Yelena Animated, Take 2 (Patreon)

For those interested in the animation project I posted about a couple months ago, I wanted to give an update.  Announcing possible projects this early is kind of a double edged sword.  On the plus side, I love sharing with you guys the things I'm working on, and the fun possibilities that could take place.

On the other hand, I don't like disappointing people.  Sometimes project like this are huge risks for me, because there's a lot of pieces that need to come together.  And if anything in particular isn't working (meaning it's not up to my quality requirements), I will pull the plug.

This animation project is a big risk.  It costs thousands of dollars and may not turn out at all.  But it's something I've always wanted to do, so it's worth the risk to me.  Anyway, I posted the first iteration of Yelena a couple months ago.  I fired that animation studio, as it was taking them three months to put together a 10 second intro, which isn't going to work.

I am trying out a second animation studio and seeing how they do so far.  One of the things I've noticed is that it's difficult to find talented artists who can make a really cute 3D character.  I did find one in my recruiting efforts, tried her out, and really have enjoyed what she's done with Yelena so far.  I will likely hire her to do more of the character models.
