Yelena: Animated Test Images (Patreon)

I'm going to take a big risk here.  I like risks.  So let's do it!

The risk is not that I may be investing heavily into a tickling based animated series.  The risk is that I'm disclosing it so early in the process, when it could very easily crash, burn, and fail before it ever takes off, thus getting folks' hopes up that are actually quite interested in such a venture.

In expanding my network of artists over the last few months, I've come across some animation studios.  Some specialized in 3D art, some 2D, some do a bit of both.  For fun, I started a discussion with one of them to see if I could mark something off on my bucket list that I've wanted to do since forever: produce animated tickling media.

I spoke to the studio, and scoped it so it would be viable and cost effective.  My thought here is not like a full length movie or anything huge.  Rather, I want to start smaller and do maybe thirty 1-minute video clips.  Also these aren't huge action sequences with complicated scripts and direction.  These will be kind of a "day in the life" kind of shorts at home with a couple from our comic book line.

I polled you all earlier which couple would you like to see.  Agent Starlight and Agent Kedrick from The Agencies received the most votes.  Yelena and Gretchen received the second most.  Given what I think would be fun, and taking fan based input into account, I decided to hire the studio into designing a 3D model of Yelena.

The attached images are the first take for Yelena.  I think her facial features are interesting.  I told the studio I want to go more cartoonish for her.  Kind of a 3D art Pixar/Disney vibe.  They made her look really young in the face.  And the hair is ok, especially since the only guidance I gave were older sketches of Yelena, showing her hair swept to one side.  So they did that.

The biggest issue I have is her current body type.  She's very thick lol.  So I gave the studio some feedback to slim her down to her comic book proportioned body.
