Lily knows to shoot first and ask questions later. She's been planetside long enough to know that most of the local fauna simply wants to immobilize her and use her as an incubator. Unfortunately, though, intel about the reproductive cycles of the local flora is somewhat lacking. (That's my take, anyway.)

I'm enjoying Lily's story so far - she's definitely a bit heftier than previous heroines and can handle herself. I do feel a little sorry for the monster, but I've still got to root for the redhead.
