The time has come! V0.01 of Shattered Minds is finished and ready for download!

OK this looks good enough for me to throw some money at it. The mind control tag has been missing a GOOD new game for a while. You have a solid base already even with a .01 build, interesting concept and solid execution so far. Please do not fall for the age old trope of making the game have some sort of nemesis that takes your power away/ undoes your work. Nothing like a gratuitous power fantasy that suddenly makes the player feel helpless and ineffective. Situational manipulation and indirect roadblocks can accomplish the same thing without stripping the player of agency. Only thing that is bothering me is the forced telling of Bill about your power. Never been a fan of telling anyone something so dangerous for no reason. First time I could have used my powers freely I would have told him to forget everything about me having powers. That is just me though and I am not a trusting guy. Good luck and I look forward to the next release!

I became a patron recently solely because, as the guy above said, there hasn't been any good mind control games as of late. After playing the first release, I can't wait for the next one! I'm more than willing to support this work if you are doing the work and releasing updates on time. I'm just hoping you don't get burnt out during the creation of the game. I don't know how many people are on your team or if you are working alone, but please be transparent with patrons with what's going on during the development process. Finally a game with mind control that's actually a real game instead of just being yet another boring linear visual novel with no real interactivity. I mean seriously, if my fetish is mind-controlling people then obviously this means that I like having control of my character as well instead of just reading all of the choices they make without any input doesn't it? Anyway, while this was a great first release, I do hope we'll get a bit more choices and variety with how we corrupt the girls instead of only following quests in future releases. All of the girls in your game look absolutely stunning. I gotta say haven't been that excited about a new porn game since Glassix and that game came out like 5 years ago so I had to become a patron.

Thanks for your support! Don't worry, some kind of nemesis who will take away your power isn't planned :) We will take care of Bill later in the story. It could be that he becomes more and more of a risk. Not only that, but he's starting to utilize the MC more and more (as he did on his first quest with Kobe). The MC will then have to make the difficult decision of how to deal with his lifelong friend.

Thanks for your support! I aim for smaller, but more frequent updates. I want to get an update out every 4-8 weeks. It's only me working on the game yet, but I hope to get a writer onboard soon!

I am all for keeping him as a friend. There are just some friends you do not trust with everything. I had a buddy I would not ever let drive my car but he was still one of my best friends. He would have just trashed my clutch and tires. Personally I would like an option to just have him think it is impossible for MC to have powers and forget everything about the MC having mental powers going forward.
