Good Morning!

Update! I'm going to create a Cruella in my usual style for this month's official release. I will finish this one and release it to patrons, but it might be next month before i finish it. How does that sound?

This is an early WIP of my Cruella figure for this month, and I actually went a different way than I usually do and ended up with a stylized / disney look.

SO, serious question. Are you all happy with this style OR would you prefer the more realistic look of past figures.

Tell me in the comments quick, because its still early enough i can go and do her again in my usual style without losing a heap of work/time.

P.S I think she definitely deserves to be a bust.

Definitely leave it as it is, it looks great.

I hate go the other way than everyone else (no I don't). I personally would prefer your usual style.

I like the pose, the body looks fine, but I am not a fan of the face it does not come across as evil. It has more princess like quality than I expect.

Definitely based on the new cruella movie. 10/10 recommended watching. Looove

I have to agree that the face looks a bit more princess like, but I do like the idea of a stylized character. Maybe one can be stylized and the other than by your normal style?

OO7Goofy

I think the princess face/smile needs to have the slightest twinge of evil. Otherwise, love it

I immediately recognized her as being Estella/Cruella from the new movie before reading the name in the title. The soundtrack for the new movie is excellent! In all honesty, is it even possible to make Emma Stone look evil? Snarky, absolutely, but I'm not sure it's possible for her to look evil.

From an IRL perspective, the safer option is to not have her look so much like the IP of that mouse company. We don't want you to end up with a cease & desist letter.

Gary Hill

I prefer your style over this. Also hoping for the nude/NSFW model option. 😉

To be honest, I much prefer your usual style of work. It's nice to see variation, but I'm not really a fan of this direction more than I would be if it was closer to the actress. That said, if you could make this one look more arrogantly cunning and egotistical, I think you'd capture the character perfectly

So, I'm kinda torn... I absolutely adored what you did with Frank and Francene for Halloween - they still are my absolute favourites of yours BECAUSE of that style. I love your usual realistic style, it's great! But if you were to go into that Frank/Francene direction for this month I would totally dig it! :D

Burie Alain

It is ok for me

Tim

I prefer your usual style... I'm not really a fan of the face.

I'm not sure they can... Their character is based on a novel in which her iconic look is described in the book. Plus you can find hundreds of models for sale based on the princesses which are also derivatives of other authors/folklore which is likely why Disney doesn't seem to go after anyone for those yet do for mr. mouse
