Tomorrow, the legendary Kitchen Sisters kick off a once-a-day audio production about "Keepers", which represents librarians, archivists, collectors and all sorts of others dedicated to providing continual and current access to the past and present. It'll be called "Keeper of the Day" and, apparently, they decided Mr. Bombastic Archive Guy In A Top Hat is going to be the inaugural episode.

I linked to the Soundcloud for the first episode, which you can hear immediately. I love the fabric of interacting sounds and voices they do (in all their work) and I'm delighted I got to be their big test case.

As I understand it, they plan to do a year of these productions, once a day, and if you think two people slamming away at a thematic story/podcast for over 300 episodes in less than a year's span isn't a breathtaking project, I don't know what to tell you.

The Kitchen Sisters live at http://www.kitchensisters.org/ and they have all sorts of other connections and projects they've done over the years. Well worth your time.
