Episode Five:

California, California, Not California, Dot Boom California, Dot Bust California, Internet Archive California.

When I get home next week, I'm going to sit down and work on the next generation of this show, to refine a bunch of processes. Thanks for your patience as I work through this new project!

Is the archive.org talk available on video somewhere? I couldn't find it... :-/

Here's a link to the full event: <a href="https://archive.org/details/youtube-j1eYfT1r0Tc" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://archive.org/details/youtube-j1eYfT1r0Tc</a> I'm in there towards the middle, after Brewster and Rick and Wendy speak, and before Mark speaks. My talk is 7 minutes long. I'm also an emcee.

Thank you for all the podcasts so far, Jason. The stories are wonderful. You have a real talent for understanding and describing the connections between technology and people without trivialising or sensationalising them. You remind me of James Burke (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Burke_%28science_historian%29)" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Burke_%28science_historian%29)</a> in that regard. The audio quality has been fine. And forty-five minutes is the length of my morning train commute, so that's fine by me. Maybe an idea for the future is for you to interview people, but in a real back and forth way so you don't have to keep quiet (!). Anyway, thanks again!
